Christian Bale and Mark Wahlberg premiere The Fighter

We get to see so much of Mark Wahlberg that you will have to excuse for going on a bit about Christian Bale! It’s been a hot minute since we’ve seen the star of “The Dark Knight” and “Public Enemies” hit the red carpet at the Paramount Pictures’ “The Fighter” premiere held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Monday, December 6th, 2010 in Hollywood, California.

While Mr. Bale was joined by his wife Sibi Blazic, his co-star Mark Wahlberg took to the carpet with his statuesque bride Rhea Durham.

Also in attendance were director David O Russell, co-stars Amy Adams and Melissa Leo, actress Virginia Madsen, and Dicky Eklund whom Bale plays in the film.

The Fighter, is a drama about boxer “Irish” Micky Ward’s unlikely road to the world light welterweight title. His Rocky-like rise was shepherded by half-brother Dicky, a boxer-turned-trainer who rebounded in life after nearly being KO’d by drugs and crime.

You can catch the boxing drama in theaters on December 20th, 2010.
