Could you even tell by looking at this picture that Tracy Morgan had recently undergone major surgery? The actor who is widely recognized for his role as Tracy Jordan on “30 Rock” underwent a kidney transplant earlier this month. He has suffered with diabetes for nearly fifteen years of his life.
The photo above was taken of Morgan at the Boston Celtics versus New York Knicks game held at Madison Square Garden on Friday, December 17th, 2010 in New York City.
“Tracy is doing well and taking some much needed time to recover after the surgery,” said the statement. “He is looking forward to going back to work after the holidays.”
As a result, Tracy will miss at least two episodes of the multiple award winning NBC comedy. The episodes sans Mr. Morgan are set to air in March.
