Between award nominations, movie premieres, and of course getting pregnant and becoming engaged you must wonder when Natalie Portman has the time to shoot so many movies! Currently in theaters with her multiple award nominated film “Black Swan,” Portman is gearing up to premiere an all new film called, “The Other Woman.”
Originally titled “Love and Other Impossible Pursuits” for the novel by Ayelet Waldman on which it was based, follows Emilia Greenleaf’s (Portman) life and how it is turned upside down.
Grieving the loss of her infant daughter Isabel, she is still coming to terms with her status as the second wife of lawyer Jack Wolf (Scott Cohen).
Vilified as a homewrecker, she attracts the unyielding ire of his embittered ex-wife Carolyn (Lisa Kudrow), and now she must come to terms with her stepson, William (Charlie Tahan), who needles her with constant references to her dead baby.
The film was originally shot in 2009 and made its way across the film festival circuit and has finally found distribution.
“The Other Woman” will be available via Video on Demand on January 11th, 2011.
