Johnny Depp promotes in Berlin ahead of Golden Globe nod

“The Tourist” may not be receiving many good reviews these days but the Hollywood Foreign Press should thinks Johnny Depp‘s performance was worth a Golden Globe nomination. Depp scored two Best Actor in a Dramatic Motion Picture nominations, one for his role as the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland and one for his role in “The Tourist.”

Dexter, The Big C, Covert Affairs score Golden Globe nominations!

Today feels like Christmas for me for more than one reason. First, my new Droid phone is due to arrive and second, the Golden Globe nominations are out and so many of my favorites have made the list!

As expected, our boy Michael C Hall has earned a nomination for his role as serial killer Dexter Morgan on the Showtime hit “Dexter.” His co-star Julia Stiles earned a nomination in the “Best Supporting Actress” category and the show itself is up for “Best Television Series (Drama).

REVIEW: Desperate Housewives “Down the Block There’s a Riot”

I’ve tried so very hard to get into this season of Desperate Housewives but it just isn’t clicking for me, which is strange because I grew up with Dallas and Knots Landing so I should be oozing tolerance of ridiculous and implausible revenge plots. Instead I realize that I’ve been watching this season shouting “seriously?” at the television and desperately hoping it will get better.

After scaling a tall building in Dubai, Tom Cruise has headed to a chilly Vancouver, Canada to shoot scenes for his new film, “Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol.” He was photographed wearing a black puffy jacket that was shielding him from the elements but when the cameras cut on he showed off his wife beater look on Monday, December 13th, 2010.
