“The Stand” has long been been held in high regard by fans of Stephen King as his best work. Personally, my favorite book of his is “IT” but King’s tale of a post-apocalyptic battle between good and evil ranks in my top five. And it seems the good people at Warner Brothers are also fond of it because the news broke today that they are developing “The Stand” for a major theatrical release.
