Tyrese Gibson trades Miami for New York to ring in the New Year

When he had to pick what city he would spend his birthday in, hunky actor Tyrese Gibson picked my hometown of Miami. So I can’t be too upset that he headed to the Big Apple to ring in the new year.

Gibson, who turned thirty two on Thursday, was photographed when he arrived at the 2011 CIROC New Year’s Eve party held at the Gansevoort Park Avenue on Friday, December 31st, 2010 in New York City where he also served as host for the evening. Also in attendance were Dylan McDermott, Gina Gershon, NFL linebacker Julian Peterson, and Lauryn Hill who also put on an amazing performance.

As I previously mentioned, Tyrese took Miami by storm for his birthday celebration which took place at celebrity hot spot STK on Thursday, December 30th. He was joined by friends including director Michael Bay, Def Jam recording artist Leon Timbo, singer/producer Tank, rapper Drake, and Miami Heat star LeBron James who was also celebrating his birthday.

The new year is set to bring the former model lots of good things including the release of two highly anticipated films. Transformers: Dark of the Moon and the fifth film in the Fast and Furious franchise entitled, “Fast Five” will both make their way into theaters in 2011. And for fans of his music, you can look forward to a new album and even a book release come April!
