We’ve frankly had enough of freezing temperatures and winter, so it was about damn time something red hot landed on our table! So I’m loosening my proper Hermès scarf as I’m typing, because I’ve got blood, and Trevor Donovan, Matt Lanter and Tristan Wilds at the beach, with at least two of them in surfing attire? They are really making me feel the heat here! 90210 is bringing it on! (And for those who prefer looking at the ladies, help yourself to a scantily clad Gillian Zinser in the photos below).
Now one question: yeah yeah I get it, Liam (Matt Lanter) is still nursing his boo boo. As we can see in the photo with his oh-I-dont-like-you-at-all brother Charlie, he still has a bruise on his face (good job, make-up artists!). But really, since when does a little forehead-to-eye scratch prevent production from putting a guy like him in an appropriate beach outfit? And by that I mean either 1) skintight surfing apparel or 2) swimming trunks. I mean “if you have hotties, peel off the clothing layers” is TV titillation 1.01. Get on it, producers! And while you’re at it, a plea: Liam and Annie (Shenae Grimes) are the most unexpectedly hot pair we’ve seen on 90210. Make it last, ok? Thanks. Lanter without a stable love interest to interact with is a real waste. And Annie and psychos has been done to death. Time to change that broken record. Umpf.
Speaking of psychos, we really need to have another one of those little talks, producers. SERIOUSLY? Now rapist teacher Mr Cannon (guest star Hal Ozen) is keeping Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) a prisoner in her own house? Come on now! What’s next for her, some frat boy burns her hair while she’s drunk sleeping after a party, and she ends up disfigured just for the sake of it? (NO, this is NOT a suggestion). I mean, poor girl deserves a break! She may not always have been the nicest but the dump being dumped on her is beginning to amount to as big a quantity as the trash produced by half the households in Beverly Hills! Poor Naomi. There better be a scene where she puts her Louboutins to good use (that would be by kicking Mr Cannon as hard as it gets with those spiked heels. And you know exactly where.)
In other news, our favorite tormented character, Teddy (Trevor Donovan) is about to have a little chit chat with Dixon (Tristan Wilds) regarding a certain smooch on the stairs that was to be kept private and confidential, or rather, top secret. Teddy dearest, you may want to avoid kissing Ian (guest star Kyle Riabko) in public places if you want to keep your newly-found sexuality a secret? Guess it’s not that simple when feelings are involved. Anyhow, Dixon agrees to zip it about the completely unexpected kissing scene he witnessed, so Teddy’s secret is safe for now. I don’t know how I managed to write all of the above, considering I’ve been staring at those Trevor Donovan beach stills up until now. Ahem. What? Should I ignore hotness when it’s right in front of me? Not a chance. Especially when it’s a guy like Trevor Donovan. And the fact Tristan Wilds is also there certainly isn’t helping me concentrate. Fine, fine, I drank my Evian and chilled. Mooovin’ on.
For all the lady lovers out there, is it me or Ivy (Gillian Zinser) has one REALLY tiny bikini in those pics? Well, she certainly wears it impeccably. Too bad this seems to happen after she takes a nasty spill that makes her question her ability to compete in the surf competition. Ouch, Ivy. Yet even so, she has a bikini that barely covers her, while Liam is fully clothed. That’s discrimination!
Competing for affection are instead Silver (Jessica Stroup) and Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes). As in, fighting for the same man, our one and only Navid (Michael Steger). Except Adrianna doesn’t quite know she is competing, if you get my gist. Yeah, Silver and Navid are keeping their sumptin’ sumptin’ a secret while Adrianna’s life is spiralling down and her castle is a mass of crumbles, so to speak. In order not to hurt her more, they keep the secret, you know. It’s all for the best. Except of course it’ll be for the worst once all of these lies are exposed, and the proverbial something will hit the fan. Pass the popcorn, please!
