Seems like it has been like six months since we have had a new Glee episode. Or maybe it has only been a few weeks. I tend to exaggerate. Regardless, I have been going through some withdrawals and I’m ready for some Gleeky goodness. Thankfully we don’t have long to wait as the show returns in just over a week with the much anticipated Super Bowl Episode, and to tease us mercilessly a few snippets of the songs we will hear on that episode have found their way to YouTube. Hit the cut to take a listen.
So what do you think? The Lady Antebellum cover seems agreeable enough, but I have to say I heard enough of that song on the radio and if I have to sit through it too many more times I might just start pulling my eyelashes out. The Thriller/Heads Will Roll mash up sounds interesting. I will admit I’m not familiar with that Yeah Yeah Yeahs track but it could be awesome. And Destiny’s Child’s “Bills Bills Bills”…sung by dudes? Can’t wait to see how the work that in. I suspect Kurt has something to do with it.
Speaking of Kurt, Chris Colfer and Darren Criss are serving up some cuteness on the cover of this weeks issue of Entertainment Weekly. I still haven’t heard official word on whether the two get together on the show or not but it is certainly starting to look that way. I for one support this initiative fully.
Glee returns immediately after the Super Bowl on February 6th.
