
Academy Award nominees Colin Firth and Nicole Kidman have signed on to star in a new film entitled, “Stoker.” The mystery drama, penned by Prison Break actor Wentworth Miller, tells of a girl and her mother who are visited by a mysterious uncle after the girl’s father dies. [according to L.A. Times]
Nicole will play the role of the mother with Alice in Wonderland star Mia Wasikowska as the girl and Mr. Firth stars as the uncle. Filmmaker Chan Wook-Park will sit in the directors chair in his first English language film.
The production is set to begin shooting in late Spring.
