With New York Fashion Week in full swing, celebrities are seen catching all their favorite designers as they premiere their latest collections. Both Gabrielle Union and Christina Hendricks were photographed at the Carolina Herrera Fall 2011 fashion show during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week held at The Theatre at Lincoln Center on Monday, February 14th, 2011 in New York City.
While I continue to kick myself in the behind for not attending this year, I have been keeping up with the constant steam of photographs escaping from the tents.
The Herrera models (Magdalena Frackowiak shown here) were made up by Diane Kendal with MAC cosmetics and she said this about her inspiration, “It’s all
about a gorgeous face: eyes are defined, cheeks are fresh, and lips are perfectly stained.”
She used Black Creme Liner and it was applied with a delicate hand over the upper lashline only with a slight kick at the outer corner and Haute & Naughty Mascara applied over upper lashes only.
On the lip Prince Noir Lipstick was used by patting it lightly onto lips for a sheer stain. For a polish effect, Studio Careblend Pressed Powder (Available Spring/Summer 2011) over the center of the face after foundation was blended over skin.
To complete the look, Angel Powder Blush was blended over the cheeks for a slight flush. Just stunning!
