Oscar nominated actress Natalie Portman walked the red carpet in a stunning plum Rodarthe gown at the 83rd Annual Academy Awards held at the Kodak Theatre on Sunday, February 27th, 2011 in Hollywood, California with fiance Benjamin Millepied.
Although Natalie’s dress was beautiful and the color was striking, it seemed a little ill fitted at the bottom. Had it reached the floor and maybe even cascaded out a bit, the dress would have flattered her figure more and evened out her proportions. The actress also wore long purple beaded Tiffany jewels which were a bit much and clashed with the beading on the dress. Overall, she looked great but it could have been amazing had made a few subtle alterations.
