Thanks to area storms, my Chuckage was intermittent this evening. Either the picture was messing up or the weatherman was feeling the need to interupt and tell me storms were in the area (because the lightening might not have been a sufficient indicator). Chuck episodes can be rather hit-or-miss lately. This one seemed like a hit, which makes it all the less cool that my viewing experience was not optimal. Due to the fates being against me, your review this week will be a quickie.
Vivian Volkov (Lauren Cohan) is really throwing me for a loop. I like her, but
at the end of last week I was worried she was turning to the dark side. But then this week opened with her turning down the offer to continue her fathers legacy. She did great doing her spy job today though. But alas, I’m left torn in the end again!
Chuck (Zachary Levi) and Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) on the other hand were total bad asses. Best bank robbing scene EVER. Sarah is a much better bank robber that she is a future bride I think… In fact, once it finally “clicked” for her, she turned into Bridezilla. Poor Ellie (Sarah Lancaster) went from trying her hardest to get Sarah interested in the whole wedding thing, to being her personal planning slave.
Speaking of Sarah’s wedding… Remember when she was trying on dresses (the spy way of course)? Remember the song that was playing??
I totally know the drummer’s uncle! And that is my claim to fame. I started a new job last week and one of the senior management team told me about his nephew’s band, Admiral Fallow. And there you have it. So, for those interested, the song was called Squealing Pigs, off the album Boots Met My Face.
Meanwhile, back at the Buy More, Morgan (Joshua Gomez) was making himself comfy in the media room when he overheard a few contractors heading down to Castle. Like any good clueless spy, Morgan followed them down to see what was going on and he stumbled across Casey’s (Adam Baldwin) secret other assignment. Morgan, if you’ll recall, just moved out of Chara’s apartment and is currently staying with his mother. Momma Grimes, if you’ll recall once more, is shacking up with Big Mike (Mark Christopher Lawrence). Thanks to leveraging his new found secret knowledge, Morgan
will be staying at Casey’s place for a while! This will be an interesting roommate situation… Casey might be growing more fond of Morgan, but this will definitely put a damper on the bear-skin-rug session with Alex (Mekenna Melvin). At least, I really hope it does.
And that is your Chuckification for the evening. I apologize for its lack luster appearance and all around terseness. Make sure you move to a lower floor, interior room in case of tornado, and if you must drive, please increase your following distance to compensate for the slick roads.
