Oh how I wish Michelle Rodriguez would have walked the red carpet at the Academy Awards! While stars were a lot bolder with colors last night, I truly felt no one dress really made me say Wow….
Until I saw these images of Michelle Rodriguez arriving at Supper Club for a post-Academy Awards dinner in Los Angeles, California on Sunday, February 28th, 2011. Finally a risk taker!!
Before I go into my rant let me give you the run down of what she wore. Her sheer, lace gown is from Georges Hobeika and it is very similar to one shown during Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture S/S 2010. No shrinking violet could get away with wearing this number thats why this look worked on Michelle.
The shoes, which we can’t get a clear view from in these images, are from Giuseppe Zanotti, necklace by Stephen Webster and bag by Judith Lieber.
As previously mentioned, I loved that women were being more daring when picking out Oscar dresses and not just playing it safe with basic black. Cate Blanchett is a perfect example of someone (the only one) who really took a risk and it definitely paid off.
Be bold ladies, and if you have the body flaunt it…a la Michelle Rodriguez.
