One of the hottest hook ups of the year hands down is that of Shakira and Gerard Pique! I never expected to hear that Shaki and her long time boyfriend Antonio de la Rua split but it seems that it has been amicable and now she has moved on to greener pastures.
FC Barcelona star Pique was photographed dropping off his Colombian girlfriend at Barcelona International Airport on Tuesday, March 1st, 2011. It’s so sad that the duo had to depart without a proper goodbye due to the flock of photographers following them.
Had they waited a bit or been a little more discreet we may have caught them exchange a passionate farewell smooch!
The “Loca” singer opened up to Spanish media about her split with de la Rua and she mentions how she feels about love.
Regarding de la Rua:
“Our friendship is solid like a rock. It will always be this way and I will always be by his side, but as a working companion and as a friend. Antonio is the person in whom I most confide in this world. Together with him I was able to get to where I am today, Shakira said to Argentine magazine Luz.”
Regarding Love:
“I will never stop believing in love… I hope that the press may understand and may imagine what it is to be in my position in this moment.”
Girl I would PAY big money to be in YOUR position right now. Pique is muy caliente!!!!!!
