Many celebrities pass through the Narita International Airport, but none is more beloved than Johnny Depp. The actor, who has been on the road promoting his new animated film, “Rango” in the United States, made his arrival into Japan on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2011.
Longtime fans know how gracious Mr. Depp is with his adoring public. You can see in the gallery below that even though he had just flown a really long distance, he took the time to greet some of his most dedicated fans.
While in Asia, Johnny is set to unleash “The Tourist” onto audiences. The film follows Elise (Angelina Jolie), a mysterious woman who sits next to an American tourist, Frank (Depp), on a train going to Venice. She has chosen him as a decoy, making believe that he is her lover who is wanted for police.
Not only will they need to evade the police, but also the mobster whose money her lover stole.
The Tourist opens in Japan on March 5th.
