It’s a big day for Kim Kardashian, after her appearance on the Ryan Seacrest show this morning, the reality star can call herself a singer. She debuted her first single entitled, Jam (Turn It Up), an electronic/dance tune you are sure to hear all over the clubs sound systems in the near future.
Not because it is good necessarily but because its Kim Kardashian and anything she touches turns to gold! I wish I could say that I simply loved the song and felt she would become a bonafide musical talent but that simply is not the case.
There is no record breaking tune here but its a fun little catchy song that no doubt her core fans will go crazy over. You gotta give the girl at least an “A” for effort, trying something completely out of your comfort zone is not easy. I can’t sing for ISH, and no amount of autotune would help me out!
Kardashian teamed up with producer The-Dream to create the song and just have a little fun with it.
“[The-Dream said] let’s just have fun. Let’s donate the proceeds, let’s just have fun with it don’t take yourself seriously, try something you’ve never done before.”
Money made via iTunes for the song will benefit the amazing kids at St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. So purchase the track and know your money is going to a worthy cause!
