My favorite red head Carrie Preston should commit to always wearing blue! The True Blood actress dazzled on the red carpet at the PaleyFest 2011 presents “True Blood” at the Saban Theatre on Saturday, March 5th, 2011 in Beverly Hills, California.
Preston wore an In Add Minus Navy Ruched Cocktail Dress which featured a sexy upward slit in the middle of her back. (Accidental Sexiness anyone?) She accesorized with Erica Courtney Diamond and Aquamarine Oval earrings.
There were some startling details to emerge from the Paley Center about Carrie’s character Arlene Fowler. When last we saw the Merlotte’s waitress, she was pregnant with her dead, psycho killer ex-fiance’s baby. She tried to do away with the pregnancy all together but she failed.
Her current beau Terry Bellefleur loves her and wants to raise the baby as his own. Little does he know what the future will hold!
“Certainly in Arlene’s mind, there’s good and there’s evil and if you are a serial killer, you are evil.” ["And Terry thinks that could maybe be corrected parented out," added Todd Lowe.] Of the state of things with the baby, Preston said, “Last we left it, the baby was on-board and we’ll just say that that problem grows exponentially.
Sounds like she is putting things mildly. True Blood creator and executive producer Alan Ball flat out called the baby, “evil!”
Ooh Arlene is going to have some juicy storylines come season four! They have let us to believe the impending birth could take place as soon as the season premiere!!

It’s amazing how Carrie Preston doesn’t even seem like Carrie Preston anymore.
Every time I see her I see Arlene Fowler. It is almost as if she molts in Arlene whenever she is at a True Blood event now. I know this is how she wants it, but for fans that followed her before True Blood it is a real turn off.
