Taking Australia by storm, Gossip Girl hunk Ed Westwick made a special appearance at the Official 2011 Formula 1™ Qantas Australian Grand Prix Party held at Crown Metropol on Thursday, March 24th, 2011 in Melbourne. He attended the event as a guest of Grand Prix’s spokesperson (read: spokeshottie!) Ashley Hart who wore a glittery gold dress for the VIP party.
Today’s events helped kick off the fun-tivities which will last until March 27th.
Westwick is thrilled to be attending the four day event, saying “I’ve heard so much about the Grand Prix in Melbourne and I can’t wait to be part of all the action!”
Even though he is a gracious guest of Oz, he is said to be cheering on his fellow countrymen Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton who are racing for the McLaren team.
