One of my favorite places to check out celebrity outfits is on the red carpet. There are just so many different looks to inspire what I will wear when I walk out the front door to attend one of the many special events going on around town.
Check out Chuck star Mekenna Melvin as she made her arrival to the NYLON Magazine’s 12th Anniversary Issue Party With The Cast of Sucker Punch held at Tru Hollywood on March 24th, 2011 in Hollywood, California. Mekenna looks so pretty in a lace Jenny Han dress and Steve Madden shoes.
Sadly I wasn’t able to find this exact dress available so I found a similar available at Bluefly from French Connection. The ivory lace ‘Lilla’ mini dress looks very similar to Mekenna’s dress and retails for $104.00.
I also found a cute, skinny, leather belt to imitate the look of the original and you can grab it at Kohl’s for $14.40.
To complete the look, buy a pair of black stockings and you can wear any closed, black shoes with it and look quite similar to Ms. Melvin!
