Is anyone else elated to see Elijah Wood working on a new project? These are the newest images of our beloved Elijah on location in Venice Beach, California where he is shooting scenes of the new television show, “Wilfred” on Monday, March 28th, 2011.
The handsome dude in the puppy suit is Australian actor Jason Gann who played the very same role in the original version of the show, not to mention he is one of the original creators!
Elijah stars in the role of a manic depressive guy called Ryan who watches his neighbors dog in the afternoons. But from his point of view (and ours!) the dog is actually a man in a dog suit!
A trailer for the show was released earlier this month and it looks like its going to be every bit as amazing as the original, which to be honest, rarely ever happens.
Wilfred arrives to FX in June.
