It’s official! Bones star Emily Deschanel and her husband David Hornsby are expecting their first child together! The duo, who tied the knot on September 25th, 2010, shared the news this afternoon.

Although the couple are not saying beyond “she is due later this year,” you can tell by the photo above taken on March 19th, 2011 at the Genesis Awards that Emily was already disguising her burgeoning belly!
There is no word yet how this will affect her role as Dr. Temperance “Bones” Brennan if it will at all.
