With shows like Dexter, Nurse Jackie, The Borgias, The Big C, United States of Tara, and Secret Diary of a Call Girl (the list goes on and on!) you can expect Showtime’s newest project Homeland is going to be not just addicting but a sure hit! On the heels of the pick up announcement earlier this month, the network released a teaser trailer for the Claire Danes drama this afternoon.
HOMELAND, a one-hour drama, is a psychological thriller starring Danes as a CIA officer who becomes convinced that the intelligence that led to the rescue of a U.S. soldier (Damian Lewis) who had been missing and presumed dead was a set-up and may be connected to an Al Qaeda plot to be carried out on American soil. Mandy Patinkin plays a veteran CIA Division Chief who is her boss and mentor.
HOMELAND is written by Howard Gordon, Alex Gansa and Gideon Raff will be produced by FOX 21.
