It’s official! Flower prints are back and in a big way. Two of my favorite stars, Beyonce and Eva Mendes were spotted out and about in very different styled dresses that featured floral patterns yesterday. (April 19th, 2011)
Bey was spotted departing from 39 Restaurant in Paris, France alongside husband Jay Z in a flowy black dress that looked more like a bra top with a skirt attached at the mid drift. So sexy!! She finished the look off with a pair of sky high heels and a snake skin handbag.
Ooh La La!
Our girl Eva opted for a loose fitting white dress with pretty red roses falling across the fabric. The “The Other Guys” actress kept her accessories simple going with a dark tan, leather handbag and comfy platform wedges.
Que bonita!
So for all you ladies that are dying to find a floral dress to take you into the spring/summer season, we spoke to Melissa Goff, Vice President of Media Relations for Macy’s, who gave us tips on how to pick the perfect print for your body type. A curvy girl like me can’t just throw on anything for fear of looking bigger!
“Anyone can wear floral prints! The key to looking your best in a floral is proportion in relation to your body type. For example, if you’re petite, look for a smaller pattern so it won’t overpower your frame. A larger frame can carry a larger print.”
So don’t be shy and bring a little flower power into your lives! I checked out Macys.com to see what pretty merchandise they had available and I picked a few styles out for you guys to check out. My FAVORITE is the RACHEL Rachel Roy Dress, Double Trouble Sleeveless Mixed Print, and you can see it in the first row second spot.
Guess where I’ll be going tomorrow?
