Hugh Laurie says Bonjour!

As he continues his visit in Paris, Hugh Laurie waved to photographers as he stepped out of his hotel on Wednesday, April 20th, 2011. Poor Hugh looks like he just wants some time alone but the paparazzi won’t leave him alone!

The breathtaking Brit is going to be featured in the May/June issue of Guitar Aficionado magazine where he opens up about what it felt like to be signed by Warner Brothers Records in the United Kingdom and working with Joe Henry, one of his idols on his debut album.

‘I’ll be honest – after the session I went out to my car and just sat there and wept. I couldn’t believe I’d played with one of my heroes, and that it went so beautifully,’ he said of their recording of the jazz classic After You’re Gone.

‘I didn’t have time to think about it while we were recording, but thinking about it in the car, I just became completely undone. Working with Dr John was one the highlights of my career. I felt validated as a musician,’ Laurie told the magazine.

I find it amazing when someone as huge as Hugh Laurie could become so emotional about working with an idol. He could probably relate to many fans and their reaction when they get the chance to meet him!

Yeah you’d think Hugh would understand fans’ reaction to his supremeliness but naw. He couldn’t give two shits less about his fans, and will avoid contact with them at all costs.

  2. Claudia says:

    Little mistake you made there:
His words about working with his idol and ending up crying are not about producer Joe Henry,:
They are about the legendary Dr. John !
