Am I the only one who was wondering when Mariah Carey was finally going to pop?! I swore she would welcome a five year old toddler by the time she gave birth!
Mariah and her husband Nick Cannon welcomed twins just after midnight on Saturday, April 30th, 2011 the same day as their fourth wedding anniversary! Baby girl Cannon made her big arrival first and weighed in at five pounds three ounces, while Baby boy Cannon was born weighing five pounds six ounces, according to the Associated Press.
No word yet if the proud parents have chosen names for their little ones but I sure hope they stay on trend and pick out some “unique” names. For example, Hello Kitty Butterfly Carey Cannon for the future diva and Duke Jack Carey Cannon would be pretty on spot with many of Mariah’s favorite things.
The announcement, which was confirmed via Mariah’s official Twitter account, is quite exciting for the pair as the road to conceiving was a tough one for them.
