Billboard Latin Music Awards Best Dressed: Gaby Espino and Fernanda Romero

With all the beauty that swept across the red carpet at the Billboard Latin Music Awards on Thursday, April 28th, 2011 at the Bank United Center, it was hard to narrow down who was rockin’ my favorite looks. With the exception of a limited few (cough cough Natalia Jimenez who overdid things by going into pink bow overload!), everyone else made a big impression when it came to fashion.

What stood out the most was the use of colors by the majority of attendees. Black always works but when you are attending such a high profile, Hispanic award show in Miami the safe shade is just unacceptable.

My choices for “Best Dressed” chicas are Venezuelan actress and model Gaby Espino and RPM Miami star Fernanda Romero! Gaby stepped out in a red gown with a plunging neckline and ruffled detail starting at the waist. She kept the rest simple with her hair pulled up in a bun and keeping jewelry at a minimum opting only for a pair of drop earrings.

Fernanda showed off an original look in a short, one shoulder, Johana Hernandez dress that featured gold fringe across the torso. My favorite accent was her glittery eyeshadow created by her make-up/hair stylist Etienne Ortega.

As one of the younger attendees I feel this looked represented her fun nature and proves she is going to be one to watch on future red carpets. She is a risk taker and it paid off!
