Looking fresh faced during a shopping trip in the Big Apple, Sofia Vergara and boyfriend Nick Loeb were photographed walking through SoHo on Monday, May 2nd, 2011. The Modern Family beauty looked comfy yet stylish in dark denim jeans, knee high boots, black leather jacket, and a pretty light colored purse to offset all the dark colors.
This summer, Sofia will be hitting the big screen in the Colombia Pictures movie, The Smurfs. She will play the wife of Neil Patrick Harris’s character who is being called, a “powerful executive at a high-end French cosmetics company.”
I was really sad to hear that this is the role Vergara would be playing. From day one I felt like she should be the voice of Smurfette, because shouldn’t there be diversity in Smurfland too?! Imagine hearing the sexy cartoon with her heavy Hispanic accent!
Even Papa Smurf would have trouble being around her. (that sounds a bit gross right?!)
You can catch Sofia when The Smurfs sings its way into theaters on July 29th.
