After following Jennifer Lopez’s career for so many years, I thought I knew it all. Well surprise surprise! During her interview on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, the mommy of twins confessed that her first meaningful gig was as a back up dancer for the New Kids on the Block in 1991!
You can see in the video (at about the 6:40 mark) where she is breaking it down at the American Music Awards with Donnie Wahlberg, Jordan Knight, Danny Wood , Jonathan Knight, and if I’m not mistaken, she is totally backing that azz up to Joey McIntyre!
Soon after, the television sketch show In Living Color would come knocking on this Boricua’s door and the rest is, as they say, history.
