This week I discovered how much I missed out on by not watching Alias while it was on the air. The kick ass adventures of Sydney Bristow have been keeping me extremely entertained and I even have discovered that I have a slight girl crush on Jennifer Garner!
So now when I see pictures, like the ones included in this post of Garner taken this morning, I don’t see the actress who starred in those gawd-awful movies like Elektra, Daredevil and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. I see a strong female who could lead like it was nobodies business.
The only downside is seeing the crazy chemistry between her and ex-boyfriend Michael Vartan on the show! She is such a private woman so no one really knows what really went down but since the situation has been left open for assumption, I will guess she decided she wanted to be Ben Affleck.
It seems like all has worked out for her in the end, they have two beautiful daughters and have been happily married since 2005. And hunky Vartan recently married Lauren Skaar, so he too has found a happy ending.
As an Alias newbie though, I can’t help but wish that Garner and Vartan would give me the same mad chemistry and sweetness as Sydney and Vaughn had on the show.
