Everyone saw this coming from miles away so it’s not surprising to see the latest headline from People Magazine, “Kim Kardashian Is Engaged.” Her extremely attractive boyfriend and New Jersey Nets b-baller Kris Humphries proposed to the reality star/entrepreneur on May 18th with a 20.5 carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring!

It was a dream come true for Kim Kardashian when she walked into her Beverly Hills home May 18. Her boyfriend of six months, New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries, was waiting in her bedroom on bended knee with four words written in red rose petals: “WILL YOU MARRY ME?”
With her sister Khloe happily married to LA Lakers star Lamar Odom and Kourtney in a serious relationship with baby daddy Scott Disick, its rumored that Kim was looking to find a serious relationship not be that “single girl” portrayed on the reality shows. It seems she might have found that with Kris, he fits in perfectly with Kardashian klan having a “K” name.
“I didn’t expect this at all,” Kardashian, 30, tells PEOPLE in an exclusive interview (out Friday) of the romantic, surprise proposal. “I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now.”
They make a beautiful couple and I wish them the best. Anyone want to start making bets about how long it will last? (Though I said the same about Khloe and she ended up surprising me!)
