Enrique Iglesias announces fall tour!

Enrique Iglesias stormed the charts this year with hit songs heard on radio airwaves and in dance clubs across the country. And Iglesias announced today that he will now blaze a trail into U.S. arenas with special guests Pitbull and Prince Royce for the hottest tour of the Fall.

Starting September 22 in Boston the tour will travel to nearly 20 cities and culminate in a highly anticipated October 22nd hometown Miami show for Enrique. The show will be produced by Concerts West / AEG Live. Ticket on-sales begin Friday, May 20th. For tickets and more information, please visit www.AEGLive.com

“I’m so excited to go out in the states, and this time with my good friends Pitbull and Prince Royce. It’s going to be a great show and we hope to see all of you out there. This tour will be unforgettable!” said Iglesias.

Joining the tour as a special guest is international music sensation Pitbull, who will be playing selections from his new album Planet Pit, out June 21. Known for his electrifying performances, Pit fuses his fierce rhymes, sizzling hooks and swaggering stage presence with the raw energy of a live band to create an atmosphere that brings the crowd to life.

FIRST LOOK: The Big “C” Season 2

Are there any of you out there that are still trying to get over the season finale of The Big C? After watching that scene where Adam (Gabriel Basso) walks into the garage and realizes how much his mother really loves him and he faces the fact that he could lose her, I can’t help but tear up just thinking about it.

But as you can tell by the photo above, Cathy Jamison (Laura Linney) is still going strong and she is as feisty as ever! Could her and estranged husband Paul (Oliver Platt) be heading towards a reconciliation?

Below is the first teaser for season two of the Showtime dramedy, which is set to debut Monday, June 27 at 10:30 P.M. ET/PT. Get your tissues ready folks, I have a feelings there is a bumpy and bittersweet road ahead of us.

Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz premiere “Pirates” in London

After a successful launch in the United States and Russia last night, Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz stepped out for the UK Film Premiere of Pirates of the Carribean 4: On Stranger Tides at Vue Westfield on Thursday, May 12th, 2011 in London, England. Joining them at the all star event were co-stars Geoffrey Rush, the adorable Sam Claflin, and Astrid Berges- Frisby.

I’m excited and worried to be screening this film next week at my local theater. While I have no idea how a sequel to one of the Pirates movies is meant to take place without Orlando Bloom, I have strict confidence that a superstar like Johnny Depp should be able to lead the show with Cruz-Bardem holding her own as number two.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is slated to hit US theaters on May 20th, 2011.

Bruno Mars raises the bar in Miami

I am SO kicking myself for missing out on the Bruno Mars concert held at the Fillmore Miami last night! Reviews for the Hooligans in Wondaland Tour were out this morning and it sounds like South Florida was really impressed with his fresh new style and addictive tunes.

Don’t even get me started on his tour partner, Janelle Monáe whom I had the chance to meet during a cd listening party last year. I knew right then and there that she was going to be big.

Mos (Def) finds religion on “Dexter”

The list of special guests for the sixth season of the Showtime hit Dexter continues to grow and in the process making me a very excited fanatic! I just received a press release from the fabulous folks at the network confirming rumors that Mos (apparently Mos Def has changed his name!) will be joining the show in a multi-episode arc and is set to play “Brother Sam, a hardened ex-con who claims to have found religion, yet seems to continually find himself surrounded by violence.”

This follows news of Colin Hanks joining the cast a couple of days ago.

Earlier this month, TVLine.com spoke about three new characters that are currently being cast for season six. None of which were roles taken by either Mos or Hanks.

They include:
Jamie: Described as an outgoing and fun Latina in her mid-20s, this Florida native relocates to Miami for grad school. (Could a latina hottie be a potential love interest for Dexter (Michael C Hall)? I’d love that to no end! That is what he needs, a woman to keep his azz in line!)
Chicago Mike: New thirtysomething African-American homicide detective who possesses a finely turned BS detector. The Windy City native does not play well with Dexter or others.
Louis: A buddy of Masuka’s (C.S. Lee) who joins MMP as a new lab intern. Role calls for a Caucasian actor in his 30s who is “attractive in his own way.”

So I’m hoping to hear more news in the near future!

Angelina Jolie and Jack Black get Kung Fu action in Cannes

Having fun seems to be a recurring theme at the 64th Annual Cannes Film Festival! Yesterday Salma Hayek and Antonio Banderas had a ball promoting the new Puss In Boots animated film and today three big stars had a turn on the red carpet.

Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, and Jack Black made a special appearance at the ‘Kung Fu Panda 2′ photocall held at the Carlton Hotel on Thursday, May 12th, 2011 in Cannes, France. The trio posed with a giant replica of the character Po which is voiced by Black in the DreamWorks Animation film.

Angie must be reading AccidentalSexiness.com and heard about all my positive coverage when she walks out of her house in something other than black. Not to say she doesn’t look stunning in the dark hue but she looks so much prettier in a bit of color. Her monochromatic today looked great on the mother of six!

Catch Kung Fu Panda 2 when it hits theaters on May 26th, 2011.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Hayden Panettiere are single and ready to mingle

It seems like Leonardo DiCaprio and Hayden Panettiere have been struck by Spring fever!! Both Hollywood actors are embroiled in some gossip today that says they have split with their respective partners.

US Magazine is citing a source that claims that Leo and his supermodel girlfriend Bar Refaeli have split, yet again. The couple who have been together on and off for about five years are currently exercising a split. As much as I want to believe that this might be the end of these two, I bet it won’t be too long until we see them getting back together.

Then again, the Golden Globe winner had a similar type of relationship with Gisele Bündchen until she finally moved on to her current husband Tom Brady. Anything can happen folks, so stay tuned for developments!

In other break-up news, petite beauty Hayden Panettiere has split from her boxer beau Wladimir Klitschko after a two year relationship. The couple released the following statement:

“While we decided to split, we feel great sympathy and respect for each other and will surely stay close friends.”
The Russian heavyweight champ added: “We had a great time together. But more and more we realised how difficult it is to maintain a relationship when living on two continents…
“I cherish Hayden as a person and woman. I’m sure we will stay friends.”

Long distance relationships are difficult and it was only a matter of time before this one took a toll on the couple.

Maybe now that the duo are single and ready to mingle, maybe they should call each other up and grab a drink together?!
