Paul McCartney shows the people of Peru some love!

Fans of Beatles legend Paul McCartney have refused to sit at home to wait for tonights concert at the Estadio Monumental in Lima, Peru to kick off. Crowds gathered in droves in front of the Miraflores Park Hotel on Sunday, May 8th, 2011 where the newly engaged star waved to crowds and proudly held a Peruvian flag above his head.

Can you tell I’m half Peruvian and terribly excited for the 45,000 people set to witness performances by McCartney as part of his “Up and Coming Tour?”

“I am very excited, I love the South American public, you love the music, so I’m very happy to play in Lima,” he told local media.

While in Lima, Sir Paul will be honored with the “Orden del Árbol de la Quina” Award by the Peruvian Ministry of Environment. He is being recognized for his never-ending dedication to protecting the environment.

He will also take home the Order El Sol del Peru, one of the highest honors from the country, for his contribution to the advancement of arts and humanities backstage before the show.

Kim Kardashian to unveil perfume in Miami

I hope security has been put on high alert! The last time I attended a local event that Kim Kardashian hosted, the crowds were nearly uncontrollable!

Russell Brand is a jet ski junkie!

I somehow had an idea that if Russell Brand ever made his way to Miami he would fall in love with my amazing city. This is at least the second or third time I’ve seen images of him hitting the beach and speeding around in a jet ski! These latest images of the British comedian were taken in Miami, Florida on Sunday, May 8th, 2011

I was mistaken last week when I mentioned Brand was leaving the area. It seems he was just checking out from his hotel and moving to a private residence where he would have more privacy.

Brand is in town to shoot the musical comedy, Rock of Ages alongside Tom Cruise, Malin Akerman, Alec Baldwin, and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Guess who is going to stalk the sets when shooting starts?!

Maksim Chmerkovkiy keeps it casual

When he’s not working hard in the studio with Dancing with the Stars partner Kirstie Alley, Maksim Chmerkovkiy takes a break for a bit of shopping. The thirty one year old Ukraine native was spotted at celebrity hot spot Kitson in Los Angeles, California on Saturday, May 7th, 2011 with a pretty brunette.

Working with Alley has proven to be quite the challenge. I have been following Kirstie’s tweets since the beginning of the season and lately she has chatting about her difficulties on the dance floor. Apparently all the time she has been spending on the dance floor has kept her from eating and caused her to lose her balance during rehearsal.

I’m cheering on Kirstie and Maksim till the end, I just hope she is able to handle it all!

In one of the most highly anticipated nights of the spring, Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz premiered their latest project, “Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” at Disneyland on Saturday, May 7th, 2011 in Anaheim, California. Depp rocked a shorter haircut, a pair of baggy black slacks, fun blazer and sneakers keeping his look casual cool while his co-star Cruz pulled all the stops in a long, body hugging black gown.

HELLOO!! It’s only been four months since the birth of her son and Penelope has already snapped back into shape. Doesn’t it just make you want to hate on her?!

The latest addition to the Pirate of the Caribbean franchise hits theaters on May 20th.

After entertaining her fans at a Williams Sonoma store in Beverly Hill, California, Eva Longoria took her little black dress and sexy, sky high heels for a bit of shopping on Friday, May 6th, 2011. The Desperate Housewives beauty has been keeping a pretty busy schedule.

She spent a few days in Miami supporting the Rally for Kids with Cancer before heading off to Washington D.C. where she teamed up with Emilio Estefan to attend the National Museum of the American Latino final report press conference at the U.S. Capital.

I’ve no idea how many hours of sleep Eva gets in but she knows how to multi task!
