James McAvoy goes for a stroll in London

Hot Scot James McAvoy was captured by paparazzi as he made his way outside of the Dorchester Hotel on Tuesday, May 24th, 2011 in London, England. I laughed immediately after seeing these images pop up because McAvoy recently spoke to British media about how he is never recognized on the street.

“People have been asking me about fame since I did Narnia. It never seemed to happen.

“I’ve been recognized on the streets maybe about 10 times since then. It never really worries me that stuff. I’m standing outside school gates going, ‘Recognize me, recognize me, please!’ “

The thirty two year old daddy of one is getting ready to premiere his new movie X-Men: First Class where he stars as a young version of Professor Xavier. As a huge fan of superhero movies, I am beyond excited for this!!

It premieres in theaters on June 3rd, 2011.

Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev cuddle up in Paris

Now that the cat is out of the bag, Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev are free to cuddle up in public without any worries! The The Vampire Diaries co-stars were photographed holding hands, hugging and meeting with fans while vacationing in Paris, France on Tuesday, May 24th, 2011.

Also spotted with the pair were each of their moms who seem to be good friends seeing that their kids have been dating now for quite some time.

Yes this was Hollywood’s worst kept secret but I’m just happy that they are aren’t trying to hid their relationship from the world any longer. Most are quite excited to see them together, especially those that are Delena shippers!

Kim Kardashian says “YES” to Kris Humphries!

Everyone saw this coming from miles away so it’s not surprising to see the latest headline from People Magazine, “Kim Kardashian Is Engaged.” Her extremely attractive boyfriend and New Jersey Nets b-baller Kris Humphries proposed to the reality star/entrepreneur on May 18th with a 20.5 carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring!

Here are the details from People:

It was a dream come true for Kim Kardashian when she walked into her Beverly Hills home May 18. Her boyfriend of six months, New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries, was waiting in her bedroom on bended knee with four words written in red rose petals: “WILL YOU MARRY ME?”

With her sister Khloe happily married to LA Lakers star Lamar Odom and Kourtney in a serious relationship with baby daddy Scott Disick, its rumored that Kim was looking to find a serious relationship not be that “single girl” portrayed on the reality shows. It seems she might have found that with Kris, he fits in perfectly with Kardashian klan having a “K” name.

“I didn’t expect this at all,” Kardashian, 30, tells PEOPLE in an exclusive interview (out Friday) of the romantic, surprise proposal. “I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now.”

They make a beautiful couple and I wish them the best. Anyone want to start making bets about how long it will last? (Though I said the same about Khloe and she ended up surprising me!)

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie step out for “Tree of Life” premiere

With parents of six Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie premiering movies at the same time, it’s sweet that the couple takes the time to support each other. The duo walked the red carpet at “The Tree Of Life” Los Angeles Premiere held at Bing Theatre at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Tuesday, May 24th, 2011 in Los Angeles, United States.

High five to Angie for stepping out in a sexy RED Jenny Packham dress!! You guys KNOW how much I love it when this woman wears some color!

Also in attendance were Jessica Chastain, director Guy Ritchie and his pregnant girlfriend Jacqui Ainsley, and my future ex-husband Garrett Hedlund.

The Tree of Life opens in US theaters (in limited release) on May 27th, 2011.

Alexander Skarsgard is an Apple Fan Boy

Gosh its been ages since I’ve had pictures of hot Swedish hunk Alexander Skarsgard come across my desk. These new shots show the True Blood hunk departing from the Giorgio Armani store after a bit of shopping in Beverly Hills, California on Tuesday, May 24th, 2011.

true_blood_2011 Speaking of the HBO supernatural hit drama, a new poster and website was released today ready to “Feed Your Addiction.” The new site called TBWithdrawal.com launched today and it features a link to HBO Go which offers instant and unlimited access to every episode of every season of True Blood!

According to an HBO press release, here are the details about what you can expect during season four:

Sookie (Anna Paquin) journeys away from Bon Temps; Eric (Skarsgard) and Bill (Stephen Moyer) try to win back the human public; Jason (Ryan Kwanten) learns that no good deed goes unpunished; Tara (Rutina Wesley) finds refuge in close quarters; Sam (Sam Trammell) bonds with his own; Hoyt (Jim Parrack) and Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) debate the dinner menu; Jesus (Kevin Alejandro) urges Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) to join a coven; Terry (Todd Lowe) tries to alleviate Arleneʼs (Carrie Preston) fears about the baby.

True Blood premieres Sunday, June 26th, 2011.

“Super 8″ hunk Kyle Chandler shops in Santa Monica

Did you think Kyle Chandler would disappear after the demise of Friday Night Lights? He may have refused plenty of pilots since then but you will soon see him front and center in the highly anticipated (and very top secret!) J.J. Abrams Science Fiction/Thriller Super 8.

The forty five year old hunk was photographed while out shopping with his wife Kathryn at a local Bloomingdales in Santa Monica, California on Monday, May 23rd, 2011. Chandler even stopped to pose with fans for a picture after they spotted him walking over to a restaurant for lunch!

There has been none stop chatter about Super 8 and I’m extremely excited to be only weeks away until it premieres! Kyle is set to play the role of Detective Lamb, the local deputy trying to find out the truth behind the mysterious and inexplicable events that take place after a catastrophic train crash in 1979.

Catch it in theaters on June 10th.

Edward James Olmos gets religious on “Dexter”

In what is growing into a list of brilliant guest stars, Edward James Olmos has just been announced as an addition to the cast of Dexter for season six. The veteran actor known for his various work including Battlestar Galactica, Miami Vice, and Stand and Deliver will play the role of “a brilliant, charismatic professor of religious studies” according to a press release sent out by Showtime Network.

The description doesn’t give us much to go on like how this character will be related to Dexter (Michael C. Hall). He could end up being a “friend” or “foe” but the big question is, will he end up covered in saran wrap in one of Dexter’s kill rooms?

He joins the previously announced guest cast including Colin Hanks and Mos (Def). Previous distinguished guest cast have included Jimmy Smits, John Lithgow and Julia Stiles. Production on DEXTER begins May 25th in Los Angeles and will premiere on SHOWTIME this fall.
