Taylor Swift shares the love with South Florida fans

South Florida was the latest stop on Taylor Swift’s “Speak Now World Tour” this past Thursday and Friday and boy did fans come out in droves! It was so sweet to see groups of friends dressed up in sparkles and with the number 13 painted on their faces and/or arms. (That is Swift’s favorite number!)

I even noticed mothers and grandmothers attending with their loved ones, many of who joined in on the fun and wore handmade/tour t-shirts to show their support.

I had the pleasure to attend the second show and a special meet and greet before the concert began. The green room was decorated with fluffy couches, and displays that showed off many of Taylor’s most famous outfits from her career.

To make us feel even more welcome, cookies, fruits, and sodas awaited us before it was our turn to meet the multiple award winner! Words can not begin describe what a down-to-Earth young woman she is and how sweet she is to her fans.

When CoverGirl invited me to attend the Fort Lauderdale performance, I accepted because I’ve long admired her style and bubbly personality. But I left the June 3rd, 2011 show a true fan of Miss Swift for being a talented singer and dedicated performer.

I counted at least nine outfit changes throughout the night which consisted of at least two that seemed to appear out of thin air! Either that or she entered some magical portal that dressed her in a matter of seconds. She also swapped out as many instruments which is one of the things I admired about her the most.

This girl is no machine fabrication, she is the real thing.

You never knew where Taylor was going to pop out of at any given time. Just when you thought you knew where she was coming from, in a Tigger-like move she would spring onto the stage! The next second she ran through the crowd to play a ukelele by a magical looking tree.

This change of location offered fans in a different part of the arena the opportunity to feel like they were in front row.

Her ability to enchant a crowd would render a snake charmer jealous and her positivity was absolutely infectious! Her message is always love and laughter, which was aimed at the legions of girls who admired her from their seats. I’m not even ashamed to count myself as one of them!

Plus we can’t forget her talented group of musicians, dancers, costume designers and set directors who all had a part in making this an unforgettable night for everyone.

So as not to leave any admirers in upper levels without sharing a special moment with her, Taylor jumped into a balcony that came down from the sky that moved her across the whole arena in the air! The twenty one year old created an experience for everyone that took the time out attend.

Run (don’t walk!) and find out if Taylor is heading to your city. Even if you aren’t familiar with all her music, I can promise you that the experience will be hard to duplicate.
