“True Blood” star Rutina Wesley lands role in new biopic

Rutina Wesley is moving on up and onto the big screen! The 32 year old brunette beauty is set to take the lead in Left To Tell, a biopic about Rwandan author and motivational speaker Immaculee Ilibagiza.

Here are further details from Deadline.com:

Ilibagiza’s life was dramatically transformed during the 1994 Rwandan genocide campaign where she and seven other women spent 91 days, huddled silently together in a cramped bathroom of a local pastor’s home. Entering the bathroom a vibrant, 115-pound university student with a loving family, she came out of that room weighing 65 pounds, and soon learned that most of her family had been brutally murdered.

Rutina is also gearing up to premiere season four of the HBO supernatural hit, True Blood on Sunday, June 26th, 2011.

Odette Yustman gets social in Hollywood

Looking beautiful in blue, Latina beauty Odette Yustman made a special appearance at The Grand Opening of Lexington Social House held in Hollywood, California on Wednesday, June 8th, 2011. Ready to take on the summer, Odette wore a really pretty shade of blue which she accented with a wide black belt and the cutest pair of black and gold high heels that I’m dying to own!

The twenty six year old brunette will be getting ready to begin promotions later this summer for her new movie The Double. The crime/drama follows the mysterious murder of a senator bearing the marks of a Soviet assassin, who was long thought to be dead. To hunt down the killer, a retired CIA operative, who spent his career going toe-to-toe with his Soviet nemesis, is teamed with a young FBI agent.

The film also stars Topher Grace, Martin Sheen, Richard Geer, and True Blood hunk Stephen Moyer.

Jason Priestley and Owain Yeoman bring the heat to Monaco

If you had not heard about all the fabulous event going on in Europe right now let me get you updated! See the two distinguished (read: smokin’ hot!) men above? They are Beverly Hills 90210 alum Jason Priestley and The Mentalist star Owain Yeoman.

Both were photographed during the 51st Monte Carlo TV Festival on June 7th and 8th, 2011 in Monaco.

Forty-one-year old Priestley was in attendance to promote his new tv series, Call Me Fitz. The half hour Canadian comedy stars Jason in the role of Richard “Fitz” Fitzpatrick, a morally bankrupt used-car salesman whose consequence-free life is complicated by the arrival of do-gooder Larry (Ernie Grunwald), another salesman who claims he is Fitz’s conscience.

Yeoman attended a photo call today to promote the upcoming season of The Mentalist. Why have I never noticed this gorgeous man before? Guess who is NOW on my radar?!

Zombies Take over Atlanta…again!

Jessie J and Kim Kardashian sparkled in basic black

While everything about the color might be basic, there was nothing these dresses should be called short of stunning! I don’t think I’ve spoken enough of my obsession with vocal powerhouse Jessie J. She looked absolutely stunning in a sparkly Dolce and Gabbana, strapless gown at the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards held at Berkeley Square Gardens on Tuesday, June 7th, 2011 in London, England.

While her fashionable counterpart rocked also picked a D & G gown for the event.

The songstress was honored with the “Woman of Tomorrow” award while the curvy Ms. Kardashian picked up the “Entrepreneur Of The Year” award.

It was announced this week that Jessie J would be joining Katy Perry on her California Dreams Tour. Sadly she will not be opening for her during her show here in South Florida next week. So you guys getting to see her perform live better enjoy it double, since I won’t be there!

Shemar Moore makes a splash in Miami

Just when I thought I had seen all the hottest bodies wash up on our shores in walks Shemar Moore and his ripped abs and totally sends me into a tailspin! The forty one year old (!) star enjoyed walk on the beach where everyone could admire his hot beach bod as he made his way off the beach in Miami, Florida on Tuesday, June 7th, 2011.

For those of you wanting to see a lot more of Mr. Moore have the 2011 Daytime Emmy Awards to look forward to. It was just announced that the hunky star of the CBS police procedural Criminal Minds is set to be a presenter!

Matt Bomer and Eliza Dushku get dramatic on White Collar

Things are looking to get steamy on the USA hit White Collar! With sexy guest star Eliza Dushku making her first appearance on set, we can see why sparks will end up flying between her character and Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer)!

Eliza and Matt were photographed during a dramatic scene which took place at a restaurant in New York’s West Village on Tuesday, June 7th, 2011. It shows a posh looking Dushku who is dressed to the nines and accessorized in Chanel as she plays the role of an employee of Matthew Keller (played by Ross McCall), Neal’s sworn enemy.

Rumor has it that Dushku and Bomer’s characters will have a fling! Make sure you put the kids to sleep early that night!

Even though the former Dollhouse beauty is currently only signed on for one episode, if things go well she could be back, according to Executive Producer Jeff Eastin.
