Sasha Baron Cohen and Anna Farris zipped through Manhattan traffic on a moped while shooting a scene for The Dictator in New York City, New York on Monday, June 27th, 2011. The duo looked comfy with Anna rockin’ a pair of denim overalls, black combat boots, and comfy jacket while Cohen wore a pair of tattered pants and shoes that were obviously missing their laces!
The comedy tells “the heroic story of a dictator who risks his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed,” according to IMDb. Cohen stars as a goat-herder and an oppressive dictator who finds himself lost in America.
Farris nabbed the female lead role in early May. All we know about it thus far is that she is the owner of a natural foods store in The Big Apple.
It is being directed by Larry Charles with whom Sasha has previously worked with on mockumentaries Borat and Bruno.
