Are you surprised that House star Hugh Laurie has just been named the new brand ambassador for the L’Oreal Paris Men Expert collection? Well you are apparently not as surprised as the British hunk himself!
In a statement released by the beauty brand, Hugh talks about how his first impression was to think it was all a big mistake!
“At first I thought it was a mistake, but then I realized that L’Oreal wasn’t looking for models but real people with strong personalities, who are worth it… and who aren’t afraid to proclaim that using cosmetics can be a very masculine decision, after all.”
But just in case Hugh needed further convincing, Cyril Chapup, the Global Brand President of L’Oreal Paris had this to say about their choice:
“Hugh Laurie is the perfect example of a modern man – genuine, uninhibited, strong and willing to pursue his passions to the end.
“We are very excited that he is the spokesperson for these new liberated men!”
No word as to when we will begin to see the ads but we are very excited!
