Robert Downey Jr takes wife for a stroll

Robert Downey Jr. went for lunch with wife Susan Downey at Damone Roberts in Beverly Hills, California on Thursday, July 7th, 2011. Once spotted by the paparazzi, the couple made a quick getaway to carry on with their day.

With Comic Con nearly two weeks away, it has everyone talking about who could potentially show up and surprise legions of geeks in one fell swoop. A name that keeps popping up of course is RDJ due to his involvement with The Avengers film. (and also because is absolutely awesome!)

So while the film continues to shoot, fans will cross their fingers that at least one of the guys from the film that stunned fans in Hall H last year, will make a special appearance.

This fan hopes its Robert Downey Jr.

Jennifer Aniston scores star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Jennifer Aniston was honored with a hand and footprint ceremony at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California on Thursday, July 7, 2011.

Even though Aniston’s success has already made her a permanent socialite in the entertainment world, she officially sunk her hands and feet in the forecourt of the theatre. Her recent co-star Jason Bateman and BFF Chelsea Handler, joined the actress on her big day and surprisingly, new beau, Justin Theroux was also in attendance (and beardless!) just one day before the highly anticipated release of her new flick, Horrible Bosses.

The 42-year-old beauty has had quite the year leading up to this event including a new love, more money and keeping up a banging body that I can only dream about having at 22. So it’s only fitting that she take a few months off (not a year like some outlets have announced!) after working so many years straight with nearly no breaks.

According to E! News, Ms. Aniston is not looking to start any new projects until the end of the year.

Congrats!

Clive Owen looks down in Dublin

After wrapping up on the set of Shadow Dancer, Clive Owen was spotted walking in Dublin, Ireland on Thursday, July 7th, 2011. I’ve no idea why he looks so down in these photos so I’m hoping he was just left exhausted after a long days work.

The British hunk stars in this dramatic thriller about an IRA sympathizer who is arrested after an aborted bombing attempt in London. She has to decide whether to turn against her cause or spend her life in prison.

Owen plays the MI5 officer trying to turn her.

Shadow Dancer also stars Gillian Anderson and Andrea Riseborough.

Final Destination 5 Trailer: Death is stalking once again

The trailer for Final Destination 5 hit the web today, major gory and all so as not to disappoint fans of the franchise. The series, which is centered on fate and freak accidents, is definitely back and ready to claim some victims!

From the looks of the trailer, the 5th installment seems to resemble the others before: Sam Lawton, played by From Prada to Nada hunk, Nicholas D’Agosto, is riding on a bus over a bridge. Suddenly, he has a premonition and sees the bridge collapsing and everyone dies. Lawton stops the bus; everyone races out and off the bridge just before the big explosion of chaos occurs.

One by one, all of the people he saved start dying off in freak accidents.

Everyone already knows this plot in the exact sequence of which character is going to die next, and it doesn’t really seem like a horror film anymore. But what about being really “scared”? A slight twist seems to be set upon these new victims being stalked by death when the survivors are told by recurring face, Mr. Bludworth, played by Tony Todd, that while there is a way to escape a horrible death, it comes at a very high price.

Despite any changes made to the blood bath of a franchise, beloved gore fans will definitely not be disappointed by new and nasty ways to die.

The film hits theaters August 12th in 3D.

‘Dexter’ Executive Producer: “Dexter has gotten his groove back”

If you are wondering if Dexter Morgan (Michael C Hall) is going to be sulking at home after being dumped by Lumen (Julia Stiles) last season, you have no worries. Executive Producer Sara Colleton told TVGuide.com that when we meet the cables bad boy at the start of the season, he will be back to his old self and ready for some action!

“We thought a clean start to this season would be to jump ahead a year, so he’s not getting over Lumen, and he’s not still in the throes of dealing with the Rita [Julie Benz] thing,” Colleton says. “We wanted to jump ahead a year and find that Dexter has gotten his groove back. He’s gotten over Rita and Lumen.”

I know many of you weren’t as happy with the progress of the fifth season but there was no way to go from such a HUGE ending in season four without Dex going through some transitions. So now that we are jumping ahead a year (and two years since Rita’s demise) the single dad will have had enough time to re-bond with his dark passenger just in time to give us another amazing season.

“When we open up Season 6, we find Dexter in a very positive place in his life,” Colleton continued. “It’s like the Dexter we know and love is back, and he still wants to play.”

I’m seriously excited for more bad boy Dexter especially after hearing about all the fabulous guest stars set to make appearances. They include Colin Hanks, Mos (Def), Brea Grant, and Edward James Olmos.

This could also be the moment that Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) discovers her beloved brothers biggest secret, in what could be the ultimate end-of-season cliffhanger. What would she do with the information?

Adam Shankman denies Suri Cruise will cameo in ‘Rock of Ages’

The internet has been blowing up with speculations that Suri Cruise would be joining her dad Tom Cruise on the big screen version of Rock of Ages. Unfortunately it seems like all the buzz was a little premature.

The films director Adam Shankman took to social media site Twitter a few minutes ago to debunk stories that are claiming the youngest Cruise would be making her film debut in the musical adaptation.

This is the first i have heard of this. Its not true, though i adore Suri. Dont believe everything you read, Shankman said via his official Twitter account.

Rock of Ages has been shooting in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area for about a month and a half and has already seen Suri’s dad Tom on set along with Diego Boneta, Alec Baldwin, Russell Brand, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Paul Giamatti, Malin Akerman, and Julianne Hough.
