Whitney Port and Ciara face off in Miami Bikini Battle

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week brought in many famous faces to sunny South Beach. And with all the runway shows and parties that took place, it’s no wonder Whitney Port and Ciara took some time off to enjoy our beautiful beaches.

The girls showed off their trendy bikinis and fit bodies on Monday, July 18th, 2011. Whitney opted for a floral patterned two piece while singer-songwriter Ciara opted for a sparkly pink suit.

I feel like both girls picked designs that suited their skin tones and body types perfectly. But if I had to choose one for me I think I would go with Whitney’s suit because of all the beautiful colors featured on her bikini.

Russell Brand takes a sip and smiles

With an iced coffee in hand, Russell Brand departed from Equinox gym in West Hollywood, California on Monday, July 18th, 2011. As the British comedian sipped on a delicious smoothy, his trainer walked besides him looking surprised at all the attention.

Ooh with Russell Brand back in Los Angeles, does this mean I will once again have a chance to meet him? I can’t believe that the whole time he was in Miami I had him only a few feet away in at least two instances but I have yet to properly be introduced.

What are the odds that Rusty might head down to Comic Con? #daretodream

Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas go boating in St Tropez

Looking happy and healthy under the sun, Catherine Zeta Jones and husband Michael Douglas were photographed during their vacation in St. Tropez on July 18th, 2011. The Hollywood couple boarded a smaller boat which transported them to their gorgeous super yacht where they spent all afternoon.

Forty one year old Catherine was recently in South Florida shooting her scenes for the musical adaptation of Rock of Ages. To get a better picture you will need to imagine her character the way director Adam Shankman is describing her:

“Tipper Gore and Anita Bryant had a love child. She is this hardcore, moral majority, arch-conservative who wants to shut down rock’n roll in the great city of Los Angeles.”

It’s so nice to see both Catherine and Michael out together having some fun. Between his Cancer diagnosis and her treatments for bipolar disorder earlier this year, it seems like the power duo are getting back on track.

Zombies Get Whacked in Walking Dead teaser

Season 2 of AMC’s undead street party The Walking Dead doesn’t get underway until October and the network wants to make sure our appetite for gooey zombie deaths is appropriately wettened. Check out this clip showing Andrew Lincoln disposing of some wayward droolers the best way he knows how.

Rumor has it that Stephen King may pen one of the 13 upcoming episodes. Given his history with producer/director Frank Darabont (The Mist, Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile) it certainly seems like a good possibility and should provide for some interesting zombie situations. Actors Scott Wilson (C.S.I), Lauren Cohan (C.S.I NY) and Pruitt Taylor Vince (Murder One) have joined the cast as well.

Aziz Ansari and Jesse Eisenberg hook up hungry Miami fans

In support of their new film 30 Minutes or Less, Aziz Ansari and Jesse Eisenberg met with South Florida fans at a special event held at Pizza Rustica on Lincoln Road earlier this month. The pair sat behind the pizza counter cutting up pies to hand out to some of their biggest admirers who came out in droves to say hello.

I counted at least two of us who rocked Flight of the Conchords t-shirts, one of the first shows comedian Ansari got his start. (Remember he was the racist fruit vendor?!)

In the film, Jesse stars as Will, an unfortunate pizza delivery man that gets knocked up by criminals who strap a bomb to him, ordering him to choose between robbing a bank or death. Aziz plays Chet, a high school teacher who has to help his buddy Will out of this crazy situation.

Catch 30 Minutes or Less when it hits theaters on August 12th, 2011.

First Look: Wilfred “Respect”

Poor Ryan (Elijah Wood) keeps getting put into difficult situations by his buddy (and titular character) Wilfred (Jason Gan). And it looks like episode five entitled Respect will be no different.

This sneak peek clip shows Ryan and Wilfred visiting the South Venice Hospice where they will volunteer. During said visit, the pair realize that the four legged fellow has a secret power which gives him the knowledge of someones impending death.

The part where he pees on the wall of the old folks home makes me wonder why they didn’t call this episode disrespect?!

Tune in to watch an all new episode of Wilfred, Thursday nights at 10 pm only on FX.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony: It’s OVER

While so many are stunned by the news that Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are getting a divorce, I’m more surprised that they lasted this long! The duo, who married in 2004, released a statement via People Magazine this afternoon about their split.

“We have decided to end our marriage,” they tell PEOPLE exclusively in a joint statement. “This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters.”

“It is a painful time for all involved,” the statement continues, “and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.”

Now you KNOW that in order for them to be so far into a split that they have decided to divorce, problems have to have been going on for quite some time. The pair gives no reasons for the split but Marc has been known to have a wandering eye.

It has long been rumored that Jennifer and Marc were together while he was still married to Dayanara Torres! So don’t be surprised if she throws an impromptu celebration this evening.

This is Jen’s third divorce and Marc’s second. The couple have two children together, twins Max and Emme.
