Dexter seeks faith in latest trailer

Showtime is not waiting around for San Diego Comic Con to get a buzz going about the upcoming sixth season of Dexter. With Executive Producer Sara Colleton teasing recently that Dexter (Michael C Hall) would be seeking faith in season six, this latest trailer shows us where our favorite serial killer mentally is.

Here is what she said to TVGuide.com in an exclusive interview:

This season is about Dexter trying to figure out if faith is something he should teach Harrison, but before he can do that, Dexter, himself, has to figure out what faith is. So, you say that and immediately you think, “Oh, Dexter? Faith? No!” I can guarantee you that this is not any New Age religious stuff with Dexter finding religion. He explores something that is unexplorable and he tries to define something that’s indefinable in a very, very Dexter-like way.

Ed Westwick takes a bite out of the small apple

Looking fine in a fitted white shirt, Ed Westwick showed off how he keeps his body in such good shape. The British babe devour a very lucky apple during a break from shooting the newest season of Gossip Girl in New York City, New York on Friday, July 15th, 2011.

I must confess this is the first time I have ever been jealous of a piece of fruit!

It’s been a pretty busy week for the stars of the CW hit drama. We’ve seen everyone from Leighton Meester, Chace Crawford, Penn Badgley and even the shows newest cast member Liz Hurley!

Must be nice for Ed to have a fellow Brit on set though he lucked out and getting to lock lips with the beauty. That honor went to mega hunk Crawford!

Reggie Bush’s new girlfriend Claudia Sampedro poses for Sicario on South Beach

She’s got a hot bod, sexy boyfriend (New Orleans Saints star Reggie Bush!), and a blossoming modelling career but none of it has gone to Claudia Sampedro’s head! The Cuban beauty posed for Sicario Tequila’s latest campaign which was shot right here in Miami Beach, Florida.

Claudia was joined by fellow Sicario spokesmodels and fellow Latina’s Cassandra Sanchez, Jasmine Calle, Diana Levy and Paola Garcia during the fiery South Beach shoot.

We caught up with the brunette beauty earlier today to hear about her experience.

“It’s been such a wonderful experience working with Sicario. It’s my very first big time modeling deal so I’m having a blast working and learning about tequila and appreciate them taking a chance on me, Sampedro told us exclusively. We just shot a very provocative campaign in South Beach that’s sure to get tongues wagging, so lookout for that”

Eva Mendes gets camera shy in Los Angeles

It looks like Eva Mendes is tired of the prying eye of the camera lens! The mostly private beauty was photographed by paparazzi as she arrived at a private residence in Los Angeles, California on Thursday, July 14th, 2011.

Always on trend, Mendes wore a pair of coral colored dress pants with a tucked in tank top and a striped cardigan over her shoulders. She finished her look with an oversized green handbag with gold accents.

In an attempt to conceal her face, Eva let down her ponytail and proceeded to cover her face with her hair! Did she want us to confuse her for Cousin It?

‘Harry Potter’ star Matthew Lewis raises the bar!

Color me surprised but who on Earth expected Neville Longbottom to grow up into such a handsome young man? Check out these new images of actor Matthew Lewis, who played Neville in all the Harry Potter films, at the premiere of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2″ held at the AMC Theater on Thursday, July 14th, 2011 in Chicago, Illinois.

Lewis is raising the bar, now at 22 years old and no longer an awkward teenager. But how many of us didn’t experience an awkward time growing up and worse for him having to do it in front of cameras.

You would have shocked me a couple of years ago if you would have told me that one day I’d be crushing on a Jonas Brother (Joe is so hot!) and Longbottom, I would have laughed in your face.

Taylor Swift and Elizabeth Arden team up to create magical Wonderstruck

When the Speak Now World Tour made its way to the Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida in June, Taylor Swift was not only sweet but her smell was intoxicating! Come to find out, she was wearing her debut fragrance called Wonderstruck.

Elizabeth Arden announced their partnership with the multiple award winning songstress on her first ever perfume, available nationwide at prestige department stores in October 2011.

“Wearing perfume is such a unique way to create memories. Like songs, a scent can take you back and allow you to relive a moment in time, Swift said.”

So what exactly does “Wonderstruck” mean?

The name Wonderstruck comes from the song “Enchanted” on Taylor’s current album, Speak Now. Wonderstruck is that awe-inspiring feeling that comes from experiencing something magical, especially the rush of an instant connection with someone. Taylor hopes to capture this feeling in her fragrance.

“I wrote the lyric, ‘I’m wonderstruck, blushing all the way home’ for the song ‘Enchanted’ about the first time you meet someone, Taylor said in a astatement. A fragrance can help shape someone’s first impression and memory of you. It’s exciting to think that Wonderstruck will play a role in creating some of those memories.”

The twenty-one-year old teamed up with perfumer Olivier Gillotin of Givaudan to create the gourmand floral; a charming and sparkling surprise of vibrant fruits, kissed by a bouquet of soft petals and a touch of sweet indulgence.

While smell is the #1 things you look for when picking out a scent, it sure helps when the bottle is as beautiful as Wonderstruck’s is!  As you can tell from the first photo above, it features a deep purple body with an iridescent rainbow finish.  The necklace hugging the neck of the bottle features antiqued gold charms, including the Moravian star, a dove and a birdcage, handpicked by Taylor herself!
