Rachel Bilson stays comfy on set

Looking laid back in a pair of coral pants and grey sweatshirt, Rachel Bilson arrived for work on her latest film The To Do List in Calabasas, California on Thursday, July 14th, 2011.  She also looks pretty pissed that photographers caught her before going through hair and make-up, but she has no need to worry as she looks stunning and fresh faced!

The Maggie Carey directed film follows Brandy (Aubrey Plaza), a recent high-school graduate who feels pressured to become more sexually experienced before she goes to college.

The Jumper actress will play the role of Amber, Brandy’s older sister.

Bill Hader, Andy Samberg, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and Clark Gregg also star.

Watch for this, it will hit theaters in 2013.

What No Fringe at the 2011 Emmys?

I’m not much of an awards show guy. They are overly long and mostly boring to watch but I do want to see the shows and actors I enjoy get recognition when deserved. Apparently I have angered the Emmy Gods this year because while one show I enjoy got some nods the one I thought most deserved to win it all was completely snubbed. *shakes fist*

Oh Emmy Gods, where is the love for Fringe? Anna Torv mopped the floor with just about everyone this year and I can’t say enough about John Noble & Josh Jackson, who happened to be announcing the nominees this morning. And Jasika Nicole! Lance Reddick! These people are all playing TWO CHARACTERS. They should get double nominations right? I mean come on…not one? Emmy you are a fickle wench indeed. Maybe that weird globe you are always holding is getting too heavy for you.

AMC’s The Killing got two acting nods, Michelle Forbes for Supporting Actress in a Drama and Mireille Enos for Best Actress in a Drama….both very deserved. Chris Colfer got another Best Supporting Actor nomination this year as well which I fully support. I am also in favor of the 21 nominations for HBO’s Mildred Pierce. Scroll down for a list of the major awards.

24′s Evil First Lady moves into Castle

No one loves 24 more than I do. Seriously, no one. I cry a little tear every Monday knowing that Jack Bauer isn’t waiting for me at home ready to cut a bitch’s pinky toe off if they “DON’T GIVE HIM THE DAMN NAME!”. Imagine my delight to see that my #1 favorite 24 villain Sherry Palmer herself Penny Johnson Jerald has found a new home on ABC’s hit Castle! You go Sherry!

I don’t watch Castle but I think I might start. Does Nathan Fillion know what he’s getting into here? This woman will induce a heart attack and hide your medication while she watches you die! It also worth noting that where 24 is concerned I sometimes find it hard to separate fiction from reality. Penny WAS the First Lady in my world. Don’t judge. Nevermind that on my other favorite show The West Wing there was an entirely different First Lady. Mad props to Stockard Channing yo. Remind me to tell you the story about the time I got confused watching a real White House press conference on CNN.

On Castle Jerald will play Captain Victoria Gates, AKA “Iron Gates”, a former internal affairs investigator with an attitude. Maybe she can beat the writer’s block out of Richard Castle. I know she’d enjoy trying.

Carlos Santana hearts tequila, joins board of Casa Noble

Throughout the years Carlos Santana has proven he is not afraid to take on new challenges. From experimenting with different instruments, to reinventing his sound and taking on women’s shoes and accessories, Santana has done it all!

His latest endeavor pairs the multiple award winner with renowned boutique distillery, Casa Noble. The following announcement released today by the company’s CEO Jose Hermosillo confirms Santana’s partnership and long term commitment to the brand.

“Santana’s personal philosophy of quality and integrity in the pursuit of perfection is synonymous with the Casa Noble brand of fine ultra premium Tequilas.”

“The linkage between Casa Noble & Carlos Santana will create broader recognition that Casa Noble’s triple distilled, organically certified tequila is truly one of the finest ultra premium spirits”

The Mexican American released a statement about why he chose to pair with Casa Noble.

“We have come together because I love the Tequila,” Carlos Santana said. “Passion, dedication and integrity is what attracted me to Casa Noble Tequila. I feel at home with my new family at Casa Noble. They strive for excellence and don’t take shortcuts. Just like the music of Santana, one note or one drop… they are the same thing. You have to feel each note from your heart.

Guess who’s graduating from Glee?

Glee creator Ryan Murphy has said many times that the kids of McKinley High would move on and graduate just like in real life but I don’t think we really thought about what that would mean. Now we are getting a dose of the cold, hard reality as we learn that the big three; Chris Colfer, Cory Monteith and Lea Michele will be part of the Class of 2013 and heading off to college (or New York) at the end of season 4!

Colfer, Michele and Monteith are “not going to be back at all for Season 4,” Murphy said. “You can keep them on the show for six years and people will criticize you for not being realistic, or you can be really true to life and say when they started the show they were very clearly sophomores and they should graduate at the end of their senior year.”

According to Murphy more people will be leaving than staying at the end of next season so prepare for lots of songs about the real world and college and saying goodbye. Also look for a lot more screen time for the parents as talk of post-Glee plans kicks into high gear. Clearly Rachel (Lea Michele) will be headed for New York to stage her one woman show about her headband collection and I hope that this means we will finally get to meet her two gay dads. I vote for John Barrowman and Sean Hayes as her perky stage parents. Kurt (Chris Colfer) won’t be too far behind as he seeks to revive “Mame” and I can totally see them rooming together in a dingy studio apartment off-off Broadway. It’s anybodys guess where Finn (Cory Monteith) will end up.

What will we do without Kurt, Rachel and Finn? Chris Colfer kind of ran away with the show last year with his amazing portrayal of Kurt and I think the show will suffer a bit without it. I hope they bring on some amazing new folks next year to counterbalance this. Out with the old, in with the new! Class of 2013….really, am I that old?

Jennifer Garner snuggles up to little Seraphina

Making the most of a beautiful Wednesday afternoon, Jennifer Garner and her precious daughter Seraphina cuddled during a coffee run in Santa Monica, California on Wednesday, July 13th, 2011. The two and a half year old has just sprouted and is looking an awful lot like her daddy Ben Affleck!

Seraphina’s older sister Violet is the spitting image of her Golden Globe winning mommy, giving each one a mini me!

Recently there were rumors that Jen could possible be pregnant with the couples third child which is probably not true based on these photos.  Garner tends to have a laid back look, usually a pair of jeans and a comfy t-shirt which could be easily confused for a baby bump.
