Daniel Radcliffe looks like he will be mighty hunted in his latest flick, The Woman in Black.
In this ghostly film, Radcliffe plays Arthur Kipps, a young lawyer who travels to a remote village in England to organize a recently deceased client’s papers, but discovers the ghost of a scorned woman set on vengeance— hints “the woman in black”. Directed by James Watkins, and based on the 1983 novel by Susan Hill, the horror flick is quite the transition from Potter for the 22-year-old who is looking all grown minus the glasses and added beard.
Oh, and the trailer is nothing shy of creepy. A little girl singing a song about a scary woman, plus a big old mansion and moving dolls just equals dark and chilling. Did I mention the slow and sinister music courtesy of the use of the one deep key on the piano and gray being the only color in sight?
I am still quite intrigued with this film and looks like the perfect platform for the young actor to branch off on.
The horror flick also stars Ciarán Hinds, who played Aberforth Dumbledore in the final installment of the wizard franchise.
The Woman in Black hits theaters on February 3, 2011 in the US and February 10, 2011 in UK.
