Zoe Saldana stuns in Balmain gown at Colombiana premiere

Zoe Saldana brought a little bit of the glitz and the glamour of Hollywood to the city of Miami Beach, Florida this evening. Decked out in a gold and ivory Balmain gown, the 33-year-old Latina walked the red carpet at the Regal Cinema on Lincoln Road tonight to premiere her latest film, Colombiana.

Did I mention how STUNNING Zoe looked in this embellished ensemble which she paired with strappy Giuseppe Zanotti black heals? Every detail dripped of perfection, including her low pony tail with decorative braids on either side.

We had the chance to chat with the Puerto Rican/Dominican beauty about how she landed this landmark role and about the steamy love scenes with co-star Michael Vartan. Check out the interview below.

Rihanna takes a break in St Tropez

After two kick-ass performances at London’s V Festival yesterday, a newly brunette Rihanna set sail on a 34 foot Latitude Benetti yacht in Saint Tropez, France on Monday, August 22nd, 2011. The Barbadian beauty waved to on-lookers while posing for photographers in a Bob Marley t-shirt, which she used as a cover up for her multi-colored, snake print monokini and a pair of black sunglasses.

According to the Daily Mail, the rented vessel accommodates up to twelve people and includes two dressing rooms, massage and beauty salons, five decks for sunbathing and dining.

All this at an estimated $330,000 per week! For a worldwide sensation like RiRi, we will assume it’s chump change.

Go behind the scenes of Zooey Deschanel’s latest Rimmell London ad

Zooey Deschanel is one of those celebrities that you just can’t help but love! She often plays very lovable characters like the musical Jovie in the 2003 comedy Elf and the fun-loving Allison in the Jim Carrey dramedy, Yes Man.

So it’s been fantastic to see her spread her wings in the musical arena (Zooey is in a band with M. Ward called She & Him), personally (she married Death Cab for Cutie erm cutie Ben Gifford in 2009), and even in advertising, as brand ambassador for beauty brand Rimmell London.

Earlier this month Rimmell London released a fun new advertisement featuring Zoe and their Volume Accelerator Mascara, which I have included below in case you missed it. The brand just released some new images giving fans a behind-the-scenes look of the shoot which I’m delighted to share with you all.

Ricky Martin poses with fan while vacationing in Sardinia

Isn’t Ricky Martin one of the sweetest guys on the planet? The Puerto Rican papi chulo happily obliged an excited fan with a photograph even though he was vacationing in Porto Cervo, Sardinia on Friday, August 19th, 2011. The admirer just so happened to be staying at the Cala di Volpe hotel where the bon bon shaking Martin is stayed with long time boyfriend Carlos Gonzalez.

The holiday was just a quickie, Ricky took to Twitter to let followers know what he was up to!

Only 18 hrs in Sardinia.I had to jump in ocean!

Visibly missing were the 39-year-old’s twin boys Matteo and Valentino, who are now three-years-old. Such a shame, I’d have loved to have seen how they’ve grown!

I recently heard a rumor that Ricky and Carlos were thinking of tying the knot. Not sure if the news is true but I do wish them both a lifetime of happiness!

Superstar Jennifer Lopez kept her look clean and crisp during a weekend shoot for Papi, her latest music video in Downtown Los Angeles, California on August 20th and 21st, 2011. Rockin’ a head-to-toe cream monotone ensemble, Jennifer looked happy to be surrounded by a group of hotties!

One lucky guy even got to carry the 42-year-old on his shoulders while she waved her arms around in excitement! I know of plenty of folks who would have paid good money to be that dude.

We hear that in between scenes Jenny from the Block was visited by her twins by ex-husband Marc Anthony, Max and Emme, who are three years old.

Pregnant January Jones runs for the border

What is this world coming to when a pregnant actress can’t even eat some junk food without being followed by the paparazzi?? Poor January Jones was caught running for the border at Taco Bell after a check up with her doctor in Los Angeles, California on Friday, August 19th, 2011.

I really loved the outfit she put together for her day of errands! January rocked a long sleeve, lacy, white tunic with a pair of dark wash jeans and a green handbag.

She really shows how adding a colorful accessory changes the dynamic of an outfit!

Before attempting to drive through the drive-thru unnoticed, the 33-year-old put on a fedora and a pair of aviators. Sadly neither helped her from getting papped with the goods!

Taylor Kitsch shows off his basketball skills on set

Have you been missing your weekly fix of Taylor Kitsch now that Friday Night Lights has gone off the air? Well we hope to satiate your thirst for all things Taylor now that he is busy shooting a new project.

In between scenes, the thirty year old hunk let loose and played a little basketball on the set of Savages on Friday, August 19th, 2011 in Los Angeles, California.

Oliver Stone’s latest drama is based on the 2010 novel written by Don Winslow and follows Ben (Kick-Ass star Aaron Johnson) and former Navy Seal Chon (Kitsch), two Californian friends who share the same girlfriend and make their living growing and distributing marijuana. When they resist being muscled by a Mexican drug cartel, their girlfriend O (Blake Lively) is kidnapped and held for ransom.

The all star cast also includes John Travolta, Trevor Donovan, Emile Hirsch, Uma Thurman, and Salma Hayek.
