With just three days left until Kim Kardashian and basketball star Kris Humpries get hitched, the reality star was spotted with her little sister, Kylie Jenner, leaving a Vera Wang boutique for her wedding dress fitting in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday, August 17th, 2011. Afterwards, the two met up with fellow sisters Kourtney and Kendall for a bit of shopping.

With many of the details of what is turning out to be the biggest wedding of the year are still sealed, a few have slipped through the cracks.

The wedding will not only be filled with tight security requiring all 500 guests to go through metal detectors upon arrival, and giving up their cell phones, but the dress code also comes with very specific instructions. According to Kathie Lee Gifford, who is attending the wedding, black and white are the only options. So, maybe a deep red or wine colored dress for the bride-to-be?

What is really making the headlines recently is Kim’s diet in an effort to shed a few pounds before the big day. The 30-year-old has been working out non-stop with her trainer, Gunnar Peterson, who has been her trainer for the past three years.  These days, Kim’s workouts entail three to five days per week focusing on squats and lunges with the intensity pushed to the max!

Peterson also has some wise advice for all of the brides trying to cut down excess calories.

“Don’t starve yourself. Try to get your rest so that your body can recover from your workouts, and so that your immune system is firing on all cylinders.”

Here is the scoop to Kim’s bulletproof routine! According to Peterson, the main ingredients include dumbbells, a medicine ball, a weighted sled, and a treadmill. The workout combines five moves with high-intensity cardio intervals to work your glutes, shoulders, quads, obliques, abs, hips, core and much more.

The E! star has also been making regular visits to Barry’s Bootcamp, for the mega calorie-burning style workout that combines cardio and strength training into burning 1,000 calories. She also has reportedly cut out sugars and fats from her diet. Whoa, that’s a lot of burning!

But hey, every girl needs a cheat day just like Kim, who was seen buying pizza and a soda recently for lunch in Studio City, California. So, don’t forget to still enjoy the little things, even a slice of greasy pizza that may not be good for you, but tastes so good, it doesn’t even matter. You are getting married after all!
