The many faces of Alexander Skarsgard

Just when you thought you had seen all the hotness possible from one man, Alexander Skarsgard decides to do a movie with an adorable little girl and totally throw me for a loop! Our favorite Swede was photographed on the set of What Maisie Knew in the West Village of New York on Tuesday, August 16th, 2011.

One of the cutest photos from the set shows a young girl run up and embrace the small screen vampire though we aren’t sure whether she is working on the film or was just a fan walking past. Either way, she is one lucky gal to get so darn close to ASkars!

He looks so paternal the way he plays with the young actress playing his step-daughter that chatter around the internet is that ovaries across the globe are ready to burst.

I’m holding on to mine, though I can’t make any promises.

Beyoncé is InStyle’s September Cover Girl!

Beyoncé is featured the cover of InStyle’s September 2011 issue looking mighty gorgeous in what seems to be the latest trend that all of the celebs are rockin’—stars! The metallic colored Dolce & Gabbana dress shows off her flawless figure and radiant personality even more!

The superstar, who is currently making the press rounds for her latest album, 4, and perfume, Pulse, which hits stores in September, chatted with the magazine about the business and personal side of her non-stop life (even possibly little ones very soon!).

“Now I’m a woman, and because I gave it my all, I can focus on my marriage. I can decide I want to have kids. I can be the mother I want to be and dedicate myself to my children.”

The singer/actress recently took a nine-month break from touring to enjoy some much needed downtime with hubby rapper, Jay Z. The couple tied the knot back in 2008 after much speculation over whether they were even dating or not. Those days of secrecy seem to over with Beyoncé sharing her true feelings about how she juggles life and love.

“It was difficult. I had to turn down great things, but I did it for my sanity, my life, my relationships, my nephew, my husband, my sister, and my friendships. I deserved to give myself time to focus on things besides performing, filming, and recording.”

Despite being so rich and famous, the girl still loves herself some reality television, and well, doing normal things in normal shoes. Gotta love how no inner diva lays within this show-stopper’s heart!

“I have to confess that my guilty pleasure is Jersey Shore. I love going to the movies and to Broadway plays too. When I get home, the first thing I do is take off my stilettos!”

New movie poster alert: Jason Statham in ‘Safe’

How could the year be complete without hottie Jason Statham kicking some serious butt—once again?! After The Mechanic and Blitz hit theaters earlier this year, the action star isn’t even close to slowing down.

In Statham’s latest film, Safe, directed by Boaz Yakin (Remember The Titans, Uptown Girls), he plays a former elite agent that takes on the daring task of rescuing a 12-year-old girl, Catherine Chan.

From the looks of the poster, I am getting the vibe that Statham will be reprising his usual role—hot bod, cold shoulder, badass behavior, yet he manages to save everyone and everything by himself. The actor works great in these kinds of roles, he was born to fight off dirty Russians and pursue fast getaways while shooting out the window.

But who could forget how he lent his voice for the kid friendly cartoon, Gnomeo & Juliet as Tybalt? Come on, it’s a cartoon! Who could say no to that gig?

The actor who is also dating model turned actress, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, has another project to look out for starring alongside Roberto De Niro and Clive Owen, titled Killer Elite, out September 23, where yet again—he is forced into action! Whatever, I’ll take him in aviators busting down doors any day!

Safe debuts in theaters on October 28.

Heidi Klum and Seal hit the beach with the kiddies

Now I know why these two renew their wedding vows every year! Heidi Klum and Seal have got to be one of the hottest couple in Hollywood! The sexy pair and their little family spent another sun-filled day on the beach in Sardinia on Tuesday, August 16th, 2011.

Photographers captured some fun and sweet moments between the famous couple and their children, 7-year-old Leni, 5 and a half year old Henry, 4 and a half year old Johan, and little Lou who is gearing up to turn 2 in October.

Is it just me or is anyone else surprised that the British singer is packing that kind of muscle power? I must say, there is a good reason Heidi can’t keep her hands off him!

America Ferrera enjoys date night with hubby at Adele concert

Newlywed’s America Ferrera and Ryan Piers Williams enjoyed a night out at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles, California to watch British songstress Adele perform on Monday, August 15th, 2011.

This was a nice break for the 27-year-old Latina who has been keeping busy shooting her new movie, End of Watch opposite Jake Gyllenhaal, Michael Peña, and Anna Kendrick. America plays the role of a female cop called Orozco in this crime drama that follows the friendship of two cops (Gyllenhaal and Peña) over the years.

The Ugly Betty alum married her longtime love Ryan on June 27th, 2011 after being engaged for one year. They met when Williams cast Ferrera in his student film at the University of Southern California.

Love this couple!

Jason Bateman and Charlie Day take ‘Horrible Bosses’ Down Under

Earning the title of “one of the biggest surprises at the movie theaters of the summer” was the Seth Gordon directed Horrible Bosses! Even though I love Jason Bateman and Colin Farrell, had it not been for a special invitation to screen the film early, this comedic gem would have sadly ended up on my DVD rental list.

Even Jennifer Aniston, who rarely ever does it for me on the big screen, had me rolling on the floor! Finally she has been able to break away from the Rachel Green character from Friends and create someone that was totally different.

Charlie Day also emerged as a favorite though I’m sure many of you already know him from his work on the FX comedy It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Bateman and Day were joined by co-star Jason Sudeikis on the red carpet at the premiere for Horrible Bosses held at Event Cinemas on Tuesday, August 16th, 2011 in Sydney, Australia.

I suggest all our friends Down Under looking for a refreshingly funny film hit theaters on August 25th!

Have you guys been enjoying Syfy Network’s new show Alphas as much as I have? Well here is your chance to be the cool kid on the block while rockin’ an awesome t-shirt from the show!

The dramatic, science fiction series follows five people Gary (Ryan Cartwright), Cameron (Warren Christie), Rachel (Azita Ghanizada), Nina (Laura Mennell), and Bill (Malik Yoba) who are known as Alphas, led by noted neurologist and psychologist Dr Lee Rosen as they investigate criminal cases involving other suspected Alphas.
