Gerard Butler makes fans giddy in Glasgow

Gerard Butler made his arrival into Glasgow International Airport on Tuesday, August 8th, 2011. Always happy to please the fans (but maybe not the paparazzi!), Gerry posed for pictures with two ladies who were lucky enough to spot him right before he left.

Gerry is in Scotland to play in a charity match against Manchester United today set to benefit ex-Celtic football butler2 player John Kennedy. The star of such movies as The Bounty Hunter and 300 is a longtime Celtic’s fan and is said to be “delighted at getting the opportunity to play at Celtic Park”.

In other Butler news, word spread across the internet yesterday that the forty one year old had signed on to FBI thriller, The Bricklayer. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film is based the best-selling novel by former FBI agent Noah Boyd and follows a rogue former agent (Butler) who’s called in to help battle a criminal group that is demanding an escalating series of multi-million dollar ransom payments.

We’ve just added a hot! hot! hot! new photograph of Gerry during the match earlier today and we must say, WOW! Now we know why he looks so thin these days, a lot of working out. GOOD LORD LOOK AT THOSE ABS!!!

Joe Manganiello suits up for ‘True Blood’ premiere in Germany

What better way to usher in a rainy Tuesday than with some sexy photos of our favorite tv werewolf Joe Manganiello?! The thirty four year old stepped out in a snazzy suit for the True Blood Premiere in München, Germany on Monday, August 8th, 2011.

Joining him at the event was his beautiful fiancée Audra Marie, who stunned in a burgundy red dress.

I don’t know about you guys but I feel like this season of the HBO supernatural hit has finally gone back to formula and is quickly becoming the best one yet! The only downside has been the lack of storyline for Alcide (Manganiello) though we have had some great shirtless moments thus far.

The storyline between Sookie (Anna Paquin) and (my beloved) Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) has definitely been a highlight but when will it be the werewolf’s time to connect with her? Debbie (Brit Morgan) is already showing fear that Alcide has love for Sookie but we need to wait for Eric to get his memory back and see how their relationship plays out.

Are there any Alcide/Sookie shippers out there?

Ashton Kutcher strikes a pose in September issue of Details Magazine

It’s a pretty damn good time to be Ashton Kutcher. Not only has he landed the highly controversial spot on Two and a Half Men left vacant by Charlie Sheen, but he’s also a technology buff with his hands in a whole lot of projects! Details decided to use this opportunity to create an exclusive, online-only issue of the magazine that will launch on August 16th.

This bonus issue, which was guest edited by Kutcher himself, will be available via Facebook, Flipboard, Tumblr and Twitter. As a special bonus, it will include Ashton’s 10 Commandments of Style and exclusive photos from his iPhone! (Poor Demi, I hope she approved the images beforehand. He is notorious for sending out photos via Twitter that she has not been too happy with!)

Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess premiere ‘One Day’ in style

Taking a break from her feline duties on The Dark Knight Rises, Anne Hathaway stepped out for the premiere of her latest film, One Day held at the AMC Loews Lincoln Square 13 theater on Monday, August 8th, 2011 in New York City. Joining her was her handsome co-star Jim Sturgess who looked dashing in a grey suit with a matching vest.

Anne, as always, looked the epitome of Hollywood glamour in a black and gold Alexander McQueen gown which hugged her curves perfectly. She finished off her look with Christian Louboutin heels and a matching glittery clutch.

In this romantic drama, we follow old friends Emma (Hathaway) and Dexter (Sturgess). The pair are introduced in college and reunite once a year for two decades to see where they are in their lives.

One Day hits theaters on August 19th, 2011

Tom Cruise keeps daughter close in New York City

When you have your own plane, it must be pretty easy to get across the United States and back in just a few days! Tom Cruise was spotted in Miami’s Biltmore Hotel on Saturday shooting scenes with Catherine Zeta-Jones for Rock of Ages before heading off to Los Angeles to catch the Katy Perry concert with wife Katie Holmes on Sunday.

The veteran actor emerged with five year old daughter Suri at the Chelsea Pier Indoor Playground in Manhattan, New York on Monday, August 8th, 2011. Poor thing must have been exhausted from all that flying that she just fell asleep in her daddy’s arms!

She looks absolutely adorable clutching onto her stuffed Hello Kitty doll trying to hide from paparazzi!

Mad Men Back in Production

Today marked the first day of production on the fifth season of Mad Men, after quite the long delay due to contract negotiations between AMC and show creator, Matthew Weiner.

Other than the ridiculously handsome Jon Hamm aka Don Draper stepping into the directing chair for the premiere episode, no major plotlines have been reveled about the upcoming season that will be airing in early 2012.

According to TV Guide, a new playmate will be joining the Mad cast—a precocious 10-year-old boy. As for January Jones’ pregnancy, Weiner is still up in the air on whether to hide it or not.

As a beloved fan of this fabulous show, the dreadful agony of waiting is finally almost over. Season 5 is sure to please my every expectation!

Sam Worthington: Taking a Break From Acting

Sam Worthington is ready to kick back on the couch for a while.

In the latest issue of Men’s Health, Worthington, break out star from the blockbuster smash, Avatar, says after 10 films in four years he is ready to take a break from acting.

While currently promoting his latest film, The Debt, out August 31, the 35-year-old actor says it took a lot to reach this point in his career— a “s—tload of hard work” to be exact.

“It wasn’t as if I woke up one day and was doing movies.”

“I haven’t taken a break in four years. It’s been a nomadic existence,” Worthington says. “Now it’s time to enjoy the fruits of my labor for a little bit – but I don’t think I’ll be gone for long.”

Well, at least this hot Aussie will be in the Avatar sequel!
