Zachary Quinto tells an American Horror Story

Geek pinup boy Zachary Quinto, the svelte and sexy star of Heroes, 24, Star Trek and my personal favorite So NoTORIous makes his triumphant and long overdue return to television on the FX scare fest American Horror Story this fall on FX. He’ll join Connie Britton, Jessica Lange and Dylan McDermott for a four episode run beginning this Halloween. Quinto will play Chad, the former owner of the haunted house Connie Britton and her family have moved into. I wonder if Chad will be anything like his other gay role, Sasan, the bitchy best friend to Tori Spelling on So NoTORIous?

I certainly hope so. American Horror Story premieres on October 5th.

James Marsden suits up for ‘Bachelorette’

With all the hot men being announced for the stripper film Magic Mike, I don’t know if I will be able to wait for the movie to go into production. Luckily, it looks like James Marsden and his snazzy suit are here to be our eye candy in the meantime!

The 37-year-old star of such hits as Enchanted, 27 Dresses, and the first three X-Men films, was photographed on location of his new movie Bachelorette in New York City, New York on Friday, August 26th, 2011. Joining him on-set as co-star (and producer of the film) Adam McKay.

The comedy follows three friends, Katie (Isla Fischer), Regan (Kirsten Dunst), and Gina (Lizzy Caplan) who are invited to becomes bridesmaids of a girl they tormented in high school. Bridesmaids star Rebel Wilson will step into the role of Becky, the woman who was called “pigface” while growing up by aforementioned mean girls.

Marsden is set to play a character named Trevor, but no other information has been released about him.

The sweetheart even took the time out sign autographs for a waiting fan! Love you Marsden….

Rafael Nadal flexes his abs for new Armani campaign

To continue our Friday fun day coverage, we are pleased to share with you the latest images of tennis great Rafael Nadal from his latest Emporio Armani campaign. Hand-picked by Giorgio Armani himself, Nadal posed for the fall/winter 2011 for both Emporio Armani underwear and Armani Jeans.

Muy caliente!

The 25-year-old Spaniard attended a special launch event at Macy’s Herald Square on Thursday, August 25th, 2011 in New York City. The first 200 people that purchased a pair of jeans from the Armani Jeans Collection had their photo taken with the tennis hunk during a private meet and greet.

If you missed out on the event, I have a special video released by Armani that features a little interview. I will also include the video of Rafa from The Late Show with David Letterman which aired last night.

Does Rafael look better than David Beckham or Cristiano Ronaldo from their previous campaigns? I’m not sure, but he definitely gives them stiff competition!

Claire Danes becomes Carrie Anderson in new ‘Homeland’ photos

With excitement and anxiety growing stronger as we inch closer to the fall season, we would like to share some new images for the new Showtime drama, Homeland to help settle the nerves!

Claire Danes is set to make her television return in this one-hour psychological thriller that follows Carrie Anderson (Danes), a CIA operations officer who becomes convinced that the intelligence that led to the rescue of Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis), a U.S. soldier who had been missing and presumed dead was a set-up and may be connected to an Al Qaeda plot to be carried out on American soil.

Mandy Patinkin also stars as Saul Berenson, a veteran CIA Division Chief who is Carrie’s boss and mentor.

John Mayer channels his inner Captain Jack Sparrow

John Mayer looked erm..relaxed while dining out with friends at celebrity hot spot Katsuya in Brentwood, California on Thursday, August 25th, 2011. Decked out in a large brimmed hat, comfy grey pants, baggy white t-shirt and tan boots, the 33-year-old crooner tried to avoid photographers while making his way back to the car.

It was announced today that Mayer, who absolutely needs to cut his hair, will be teaming up with Tony Bennett, Carrie Underwood, Diana Krall, and Stevie Wonder for a landmark concert event in Los Angeles to benefit Drive to End Hunger, a national effort by AARP and AARP Foundation to end hunger among older Americans.

This musical spectacular will take place at the STAPLES Center on Saturday, September 24th, 2011.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy parties topless on the beach!

With today being Friday, I feel like every post today needs to celebrate the fact that the weekend is nearly here! So let’s get the party started with some smoldering hot photos of Dancing with the Stars pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy getting a fun workout on the beach.

He was spotted with former celebrity dance participants including Jennifer Grey, Gilles Marini, and Melissa Rycroft. Also attending the party were fellow dance pro’s Anna Trebunskaya, Cheryl Burke and Lacey Schwimmer who got into the spirit of things by playing around on the sand while the boys Derek Hough, Mark Ballas, and Tony Dovolani played hard-to-get by wearing entirely too much clothes on the beach!!

ABC is gearing up to announce the official line-up for the celebrity cast of season 13 of “Dancing with the Stars” on Monday August 29th, during an episode of “Bachelor Pad.”

Rihanna releases new video ‘Cheers’ with scenes from Miami!

What could be better than waking up and finding out Rihanna has released her latest music video? Finding out that pieces of it were shot right here in my hometown of Miami!!

The video is for the song Cheers, the sixth song from RiRi’s bomb azz cd Loud. I suspect this song, if not already, will become THE perfect anthem to welcome in the “freakin’ weekend!”

The Miami scenes were shot at The Setai, the hotel where Rihanna stayed during the South Florida leg of her tour. For the most part, it seems like the video is an amalgamation of fun times had during the entire Loud tour.

Look out for cameo’s from famous friends Avril Lavingne, Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Cee-Lo Green.

A special shout-out goes out to my friends who ended up in the video!
