Ok, I know I use the word stunning a lot because I get really excited about fashion but when I say anything in all caps you know I REALLY mean it. Kate Winslet looked absolutely beautiful in her black & white Stella McCartney dress at the “Mildred Pierce” Premiere during the 68th Venice International Film Festival at Palazzo del Cinema on Friday, September 2nd, 2011 in Venice, Italy.
I love how the white panel in the front gives an extra slimming effect, not that Ms. Winslet needs it!
We can’t let this post end without mentioning the gorgeous YSL heels she paired with her ensemble. I think I swoon over shoes almost as much as I do for hot men.
Mildred Pierce depicts an overprotective, self-sacrificing mother during the Great Depression who finds herself separated from her husband, opening a restaurant of her own and falling in love with a new man, all the while trying to earn her narcissistic daughter’s love and respect.
The miniseries aired on HBO earlier this year to rave reviews.
