Real life lovers Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder walked the red carpet (separately) for the at the 63rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards held at Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE on Sunday, September 18th, 2011 in Los Angeles, California. Nina looked absolutely beautiful in a red Donna Karan gown featuring delicate bustles at the bottom of the dress while Ian (in his Emporio Armani suit!) stood not-too-far behind.

Even though the couple have been busted together time and time again, they are STILL walking the red capet separately so as to play coy about their relationship.
During an interview with E! News, Nina tried to play off why she didn’t walk the red carpet without her man Ian.
“Ian is here somewhere, somewhere on the red carpet. He’s definitely — if I was standing next to him I would be his arm candy, but um, yeah, I guess that’s all I can say right now…”
Girl please, we already know! Might as well just walk the red carpet with your man and give him a smooch!
Ian just hit the Emmy stage alongside Glee star Lea Michelle to present “Outstanding directing for a Comedy Series” to winner Don Roy King for Saturday Night Live.
