Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux walk around NY, remain dull while doing so

After ex-husband Brad Pitt made some seemingly negative comments in the media, Jennifer Aniston stepped out with latest boyfriend in New York City, New York. Looking happy as she cuddled up to Justin Theroux, the Horrible Bosses star kept warm in a black blazer, jeans, and a fun grey scarf on Friday, September 16th, 2011.

This week, an interview was published in Parade Magazine where Mr. Pitt opened up about his life during the time he was married to Aniston. He confessed that he “wasn’t living an interesting life” before meeting current partner Angelina Jolie and that he spent his five years with Aniston “trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn’t.”

This of course led to all kinds of chatter with people saying how stunned they are that he would say something so blatantly rude about Jennifer in such a public forum!

He quickly hit back today claiming his words were misinterpreted.

“It grieves me that this was interpreted this way,” Pitt said in a statement. “Jen is an incredibly giving, loving, and hilarious woman who remains my friend.

The friends star seems to either not be bothered by all that is going on or she went out to show the world how non-dull she is. Either way, it’s been long enough since the whole ordeal went down so shouldn’t we all move on since all interested parties already have?

George Clooney has a laugh on set

Always a joker, George Clooney was having a bit of a laugh with folks on set while filming a Mercedes Benz commercial in Beverly Hills, California on Friday, September 16th, 2011.

The 50-year-old hunk has been keeping busy promoting his latest film, The Ides of March all over the world. After a successful showing at both the Venice and the Toronto Film Festival, it was announced today that Clooney will also premiere the film at the BFI London Film Festival alongside co-star Michael Fassbender.

The drama takes place during the frantic last days before a heavily contested Ohio presidential primary when an up-and-coming campaign press secretary finds himself involved in a political scandal that threatens to upend his candidate’s shot at the presidency.

The Ides of March, which he also directed, is set to debut across the pond on October 19th.

‘Necessary Roughness’ Renewed for Season 2, Mehcad Brooks Is All Smiles!

Rejoice! Yes, this is our lucky day. Because we learned just tonight that Necessary Roughness is going to be renewed for a second season AND we have Mehcad Brooks photos to celebrate!

I can’t do the happy dance while typing… or wait, maybe I actually can. (Hey, multi-tasking is my second name). I won’t even get into how absolutely thrilled I am about the renewal of my new favorite show for a second season, because you got a pretty clear idea how much I love Necessary Roughness when I had the chance to share my pre-finale interview with the super bright and lively (and yes, handsome!) Marc Blucas and football superstar (and super charming himself) Terrell Owens last Friday. Let’s leave it at this: this show has a perfect combination of my favorite elements. Sports, not too much drama (except for that final cliffhanger), great lines, a great dose of wit and a decent dose of romance that doesn’t overtake the whole show.

I still haven’t recovered from that super sweet in words [what woman wouldn't want a man like Marc Blucas's character Matt to tell her he's wasted a lot of time with the wrong women and now he's ready to be with the RIGHT ONE while looking her in the eye over a romantic dinner?] and super hot in facts [hello 6' 2'' super strong Matt carrying Dani while kissing her and making her fantasies come true.. literally!] reunion between the two of them. It was long overdue and I can’t say it wasn’t worth the wait. Hell, Matt would have had me at “are you in?” last week, but I digress. Dani took a week longer but she saw the light and obviously told him they belong together and she’s just scared because well, he may be a keeper. Hello, Dr. D? You may be the therapist but here’s quick advice: you don’t bump into men like that often. Not even on TV. So waiting, buying time? Not an option. Glad you came to your senses and decided to be with Matt. Now enjoy it because we are not all that lucky! Get it? Good. Also, Callie Thorne? Dead jealous you got to film those scenes with him. And I am not the type who gets jealous. But even I have my limits.

Now, onto the main protagonist of the Necessary Roughness finale AND of the below-attached photos, Mr. Mehcad Brooks. The awfully talented (and gorgeous!) actor was in a great mood as he left the Wendy Williams show in New York today. This of course goes regardless of the gigantic cliffhanger Necessary Roughness left us with last night, with Mr. Brooks’s character Terrence “TK” King being shot by a deranged rival team fan as he went out to his favorite club to celebrate. I think we all know the show wouldn’t be the show without TK, not to mention he’s one of the lead actors, so he WILL be back, but we’re all wondering… how will that happen? And what new challenge awaits Dr. Dani to once again save TK from himself? Those questions shall go unanswered for quite a long time, as USA Network still hasn’t announced the comeback date for Necessary Roughness, but it seems like it won’t be back before next summer. I am about ready to BEG USA Network executives to reconsider this and make it come back in January, when the playoffs are actually taking place? PLEASE think about it, USA Network execs? Respectfully desperate-to-get-more-matt-and-tk-asap me. Oh and, thank you.

Good thing we have Mehcad Brooks looking like nothing can keep him from smiling to keep us entertained meantime. The fact he’s an incredibly smart and humble guy doesn’t hurt either. What? This sounds too good to be true? Well sometimes dreams do transform into reality. So take that, Cinderella! We have Mehcad Brooks!

And while we (im)patiently wait for Season 2 of Necessary Roughness, throw a smile back at Mr. Brooks!

Alexander Skarsgard premieres Straw Dogs in NY

Looking delicious in a black suit and dark blue tie, Alexander Skarsgard made his arrival to the Cinema Society screening of Screen Gems’ Straw Dogs held at the Tribeca Grand Hotel on Thursday, September 15th, 2011 in New York City. Also in attendance were co-stars James Marsden and Kate Bosworth.

I wonder if things are awkward now that Alex and Kate are promoting this movie after going through a break-up? There is no doubt that both are professionals and will not let any of that nonsense get in the way!

Straw Dogs tells the story of L.A. screenwriter David Sumner (Marsden) who relocates with his wife (Bosworth) to her hometown in the deep South. There, while tensions build between them, a brewing conflict with locals becomes a threat to them both.

Personally, I don’t even care what the movie is about! If theis True Blood hunk is involved, that is more than enough to get me to run out to the theater!

Halle Berry has a laugh on set of “Cloud Atlas”

What better way to forget about your baby daddy drama then to dive in head first into a new project? Halle Berry was spotted doing just that in Glasgow, Scotland on Thursday, September 15th, 2011 where she began work on her latest film, Cloud Atlas.

Also spotted on location are directors Tom Twyker, Hugo Weaving and Keith David.

Based on the novel by British author David Mitchell, the story follows the progress of a single soul over many years and several continents, from the 19th century South Pacific to a post-apocalyptic future.

The all-star cast includes the likes of Tom Hanks, Hugh Grant, Jim Sturgess, and Susan Sarandon.

Filming is also set to take place in Spain and Germany.

‘True Blood hunk’ Joe Manganiello back on the market?

Having had experienced heartbreak on more than one occasion, I would never wish it upon my worst enemy much less a nice dude like Joe Manganiello. So as much as I’d love this hunk to be back on the market, we hope that if the news of his split with fiance Audra Marie happen to be true, that it be all for the better for both of them.

US Magazine is citing sources this afternoon that claim that Joe and Audra have broken up.

“It’s totally over,” one pal told the mag. Adds another insider: “It was a long time coming. They’ll both be better off for it.”

His representative is refusing to comment on Joe’s personal life so only time will tell if this is really true. Especially since Audra accompanied Joe to many events; both personal and work related.

Manganiello’s character on True Blood Alcide also just went through a break-up during the season finale of season four. Let’s hope there is a lot of good things ahead for both.

Julia Stiles keeps things casual in Los Angeles

Julia Stiles was caught by photographers while trying to depart from a local Bristol Farms supermarket in West Hollywood, California on Thursday, September 14th, 2011. The 30-year-old actress kept her look casual-yet-pretty in a melon colored top, black leggings, and neutral flats.

Celebrities must keep their guard up when stepping out of the house seeing how most of them look good ALL the time! If I had paparazzi following me around I would be mortified for the world to see the clothing I wear when I go to the market!

Even though a new season of Dexter is ready to return for the fall season, I can’t imagine we could expect to see an appearance by Stiles after what went down during the season finale. **SPOILER ALERT** I guess all along I knew that Dexter (Michael C Hall) could not end up with the “perfect” relationship, but I hoped he could find some kind of love and understanding from Lumen.

At least Julia scored an Emmy nomination for her portrayal of the woman with the tattered soul!

Stiles has a lot of upcoming projects including a film entitled, It’s a Disaster alongside David Cross and America Ferrera which she is currently shooting, according to IMDb.
